Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() my sincere regrets for all the bad news recently - its hard to explain why but there is always a positive outcome; it maybe years in the future but from past experience I beleive something good will come from bad. Second race of the season done - pool swim and I started in 112 position and finished in 112!!! On reflection it was a near perfect execution, so really pleased with 1:14:09. Race report to come. Happy Fathers Day! Mark. |

Regular ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Jackie and Scott.....sorry to hear about your sad news lately. Good luck to everyone racing...especially Jennie! She should be near the end of the bike by now I'm guessing. I have to drop our son off for Boy Scout summer camp at noon so we couldn't go to Boulder to support her. I started off my Father's Day with a swim. 1800y in 45:10. Friday was a rest day due to taking the family for a half day of rock climbing lessons and yesterday was also a rest day getting Jennie packed and off for her race and taking care of the kids by myself. I hope all the dads have a great Father's Day! - Gabe : S 7 / B 9 / R 10/ Rest Days 1 ; Total = 26; 23:02'00" |

![]() | ![]() Very proud of myself. Lost 1.4 lbs total this month, but more importantly, I did this post on an iPhone at 30,000 feet.

Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Hey everybody, looks like lots of people have been busy SBRing over the past week. Race report is up from this morning as well as partially updated totals for the challenge. Long story short on the race is that a stressful week leading up to the race plus hot, humid conditions do not lend well to great race results, but overall don't think I did too bad. Solidly MOP finish in a pretty competitive field (14-30 AG and 66-149 OA). The local bike club that has won the Triathlon Club Nationals the past several years always stacks this race with their best and this year was no exception. No more races for me until August, so time to focus on the things I realized I really need to work on during this race. Thanks again for all the well wishes and hope all the Dad's had a great day today.
- Gabe : S 7 / B 9 / R 10/ Rest Days 1 ; Total = 26; 23:02'00"I'll update my time totals tomorrow |

Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Not much for me in the past few days except a lot of higher elevation hiking in Yosemite and Sequoia. Finally back down and in San Jose for the night, having a friend pick me up at 6 am for a swim. It will be my first workout in a 50m pool, I'm quite excited about that! Wanted to run tonight, but it's something crazy like 96 degrees out right now. Ugh. |

Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Saturday was 63' minute run on the Atlantic City Boardwalk with a 52 mile bike down Ocean Drive. Chris: From Margate to Avalon. Huge tail wind out and just a brutal headwind back (25 mph+). @Scott: The link to the race didn't work. Looking forward to reading the report (and congrats). @Mark: Nice race- think you are getting the hang of it. @Jackie: Sorry to hear about the pink slip, but I'm pulling for you.

Master ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Scott-looks like all great times on your race! How was the 2 separate transition areas? Did the current help on the swim? What about the bike course, headwind or fast? Was the running trail in good shape? -mitch |
