What are the plans for the long weekend?

Not much planned, I'm on call. Usually the next on call person takes over on Monday, but I'm not sure if I'm stuck with it until Monday morning, or Tuesday morning. I was on call on the 4th of July so I'm bummed about having it again.

Keri and I are going to paint my bathroom this weekend. We will probably go to the park and play some soccer, and I need to get Keri running. She's good for short distances, but she needs some more endurance for soccer season. That's about it. Kind of dull.

What's everyone else have planned?

Yard chores or indoor chores depending on weather. The DSD is showing up this weekend... or so she says. That may change plans a little. Maybe a MTB ride sometime and a run.  That is it.

Good day Ghoulies.  I'm going to do the bike in Sept for the challenge.  Hubby will be happy since he is getting himself ready for a 62 mile ride.  I also want to get going on the running again. 

Work this weekend for me, Sat & Sun. 

Two other couples coming over to play games tonight.  Woot!

Hoping a dinner out for b'day tomorrow.

Hoping for a motorcycle ride on Monday and dinner with son.

Not running today though.  Laying brick to expand our front porch.  Hope it goes smoothly!

Good morning Ghoulies!

Kind of a dull weekend in my house. I had a cold, and was on call, so that kind of put a damper on things. Keri and I did go to the farmer's market yesterday, but that was about it. In the afternoon we lit a fire in the fire pit and made some firestarters, and candles. I napped, too.

She went swimming at a cousin's house in Sunday night, I think that helped to dry the blister out. She got up yesterday morning and the blister looked mostly drained. She still has the dark dead skin on her forehead, but it looks WAY better than that huge blister she had.

Since I worked on Sunday I extended my birthday celebration.  Sunday night we went out to dinner for Italian (and birthday girl got a free meal).  Monday, son and his girl came over (after Dragoncon) and we all went for Mexican for dinner.  Ran into friends at the restaurant and joined them, so fun times all around.

Did sneak in a motorcycle ride on Monday after the rain.
