Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: Seriously Spooky Cats Has anyone besides me noticed that we're DFL here? I know several team members have been sick this month so it's understandable we haven't met the goals. If you need to adjust your goals or are considering withdrawing fom the challenge please say so. There are no hard feelings because I know what being sick does to training and it's just not worth it to push yourself through a workout when you're coughing up half a lung or something equally gross. |

Master 1284 Victoria BC | Subject: RE: Seriously Spooky Cats I have but haven't said anything as I don't know the status of peoples health but I am very disappointed at this time as I have done so much moe then I have ever done before and have exceeded my goal and see others who are no where near it. I understand people get sick if that is the case have your goal adjusted or withdraw. Maybe I am just to competitive to join team challenges like this and have to also depend on others |

Veteran 123 Jacksonville, FL | Subject: RE: Seriously Spooky Cats I've got 7 hours to go to meet my goal, including my really long 4.5 hour ride next Monday, so I'll have some wiggle room. It's been really tough catching up from not riding for a week, and my swimming has probably suffered, but it's for a good cause - and my bike is always what needs improving, so that should help. In other words, even if you don't want to revise your goals (and isn't it nice to have that option?), there is still time to catch up! Let's not change our avatars! |

Veteran 202 Tucson | Subject: RE: Seriously Spooky Cats I don't want to have to change my avatar either, and I WILL get those last 3 1/2 hours in by Mon. (Should take 3-4 "hot dates" with the trainer). I was looking over the spreadsheet and noticed some problems -- some people are showing smaller numbers (or even zeros) on weeks 2 and 3 than they had on week 1. It was never completely clear, but I gathered that each weeks total was cumulative. If this is the case, then can we get the totals changed for those team members who weren't keeping their log that way. Also, a couple of our team members have gone AWOL and haven't even posted in their logs for a couple of weeks. Has anyone tried contacting them? I know that we had this problem on our team last month, and after a concerted effort to contact them was made, they were dropped from the team. As for the rest of us, let's pull it together and get out of the basement! Inspire each other, congratulate each other -- let's put our effort in to those team members who are still pedaling and inspire ourselves to meet our goals!!!! |

I'm traveling the rest of the month, but...my hotels have fitness centers (I planned it that way!!). I still can't do a lot at once, but will keep chipping away this week. Let's not be the "Not Seriously Spooky Cats"....Peep up the great work team, you guys are awesome!! |

I haven't heard back from Peggy, I'm assuming she has been sick. A couple others have been sick. I PM'd Lisa and she is one who has been sick so I re-PM'd her about whether or not she wanted to revise her goal. I haven't heard back from her. If it's allowed I will donate my time/miles to a struggler since I'm officially a cheerleader. I don't want to have to change my avatar either, and I WILL get those last 3 1/2 hours in by Mon. One was a commute to get allergy shots and the cats medicine, the other one was hill repeats in the wind because the Richmond area is 70 degrees and sunny today! Yes, congratulate each other and use the time to encourage each other, let's keep a positive focus on the thread! |

Master 1817 Lafayette, IN | Subject: RE: Seriously Spooky Cats I know I have a few more hours to get in before the end of the month but I'm determined to get them all in. I do like that the challenge is forcing me to suck it up and get in the hours even though I'm really busy with "real life" stuff. I know I'll appreciate the hours in the saddle when I'm facing the start of my first tri next month! |

I haven't figured that out yet, so I just added the team members to my friends' blogs list. |

I PM'd Cat about removing those who haven't logged anything the past 2 weeks and haven't responded to inspires/PM's. I'm pretty sure she'll be okay with dropping them but will let you know what she says. |

Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: Seriously Spooky Cats Follow up: Cat was fine with dropping our no-loggers/non participants from the spreadsheet. I'll take care of that so those of you who worked hard will be recognised for the hard work you have done to complete your goals. If you're close to goal but just can't get there I can probably still share with you. |
