Yes my pink phone was on its last legs, too... wouldn't hold a charge in the battery, but at least I was smarter than that phone!

I got the LG Shine... it doesn't come in pink. The BoyToy brought it home for me (after my not-so-subtle hints that I was feeling mildly frustrated by my phone dying a slow death... don't listen to him when he says I was swearing like a sailor over it... clearly I am angelic and woud never do such a thing). He got me red instead of black because he decided that was kinda like pink. Oh, by the way? No, I don't think red is kinda like pink... but I can live with it. It was actually very thoughtful.

Now if only I can figure out how to unlock the darn thing...

It's very sweet that he thought to get you a red one.  I'm sure he thought it would be better than plain black for you.

hmmm no red is NOT pink.... but it does stand out so should be hard to loose?

Its very sweet... he tried

Yup, no doubt about it and it's a MUCH nicer phone than I ever would have bought for myself so it's allllll good... assuming I can unlock it and use it at some point!

Hmmmm... he could have gone with "this reminds me of your cold little heart" theme with either the black or the red so he'd have won no matter which he chose .  No, seriously, I thought it was very sweet and it's a pretty color that's not too far removed from hot pink.

Awww, shucks.  That sure is a pretty bike, Yanti!  You see, bikes just look extra sassalicious with a lil' pink accent here and there .

Morning Nibbs!  Busy weekend...even busier upcoming week...

Trying to prep for a product start-up I've got going on next week in Chicago..

I'll pop in when I can...

EDIT: Oh BTW, I'm dropping the marathon next month and opting to go with my son to camp...I'll pick up a half marathon the week before (where I can hang out with a couple of cool BTers and friends)...I may have to shoot for a PR to impress all the cool kids...

Makes a lot more sense with my HIM coming up mid-June...wouldn't have had time to fully recover from the marathon methinks...

I'll shoot for a marathon in October...

Morning, Nibbs - although I guess it's almost afternoon...had a busy morning of teaching & running errands.

On deck for this afternoon - lunch meeting, teaching, meeting with dean on new project I'm taking on, then to the gym, and then swimming lessons for the Monkeys.

Mila, at least he was aware that it should have been pink. Can you go to the mall, one of those kiosks that have all the bling for phones and get a pink cover or accessory for it? Have you been able to get it unlocked today?

I got a red chocolate phone in January with a bunch of bells and whistles and all I use it for is the phone.

Good afternoon, Nibbs.

I am tired. My brain is mush. My house is a mess. I hate laundry. Geez. I sound like my kids with all that whine! WHat can I say. It's Monday. That is all.

Enjoy all the cool phones with neat functions. I wanted to download a special ring for mine, but I don't know how :0 Yes, I am a technical wizard.

Hi Nibbs,

Propped my eyes open this afternoon in training class (can we say the differences in HMO plans are sleep inducing?)  Oh well, I am not getting my azz kicked on a daily basis and I got a nice long lunchtime run it today.  My other runs this week will be short ones so I felt this would be okay in taper week...Yeah, tapers suck

Quick drive by

I made it to NYC - headed to dinner -

my room is super small - no, seriously super small and the hotel does not have a gym - I didn't even think to check on that for the price I'm paying!

Next 2 weeks I get to work with my preceptor then I'm supposed to be on my own.  It's a good company to work for and I know the adjustment to the job will take a while so I'm giving it a while to see if it gets less monotonous.  I AM grooving on getting time for a run at lunch and other little perks along those lines.  However, I won't hang in forever if it becomes obvious that it's not a good fit for me.

Sounds like a plan - DEFINATLEY enjoy the down time, for a few months it will be essential for you to just destress..

After that well - if you have good people, nice perks and a stress free environment a job that is not 110% perfect might not actually be a concern... for a little while at least
