The next 3 days will be a true test. I have a conference to go to and then have to stop in at work for a while each night. I know I'm not going to feel like doing anything when I get home so I'm going to plan to get up really early. Hope u all had a great day!! |

And some day you'll get on for a planned 5 minutes and maybe stay on for 15 or 20. The hardest part of actually doing a workout is getting out the door, or in this case, onto the trainer!

Extreme Veteran![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Well, when I first joined this challenge I really didn't expect to ride my trainer, I was planning to do all of my riding outside. But with the shorter days, I don't have time after work to go out for a ride, so I've actually been using the trainer. It's not as bad as I remember. Maybe because I didn't have any training dvd's to use. I have several Coach Troy dvds now and use those. Thanks Max, you have made me appreciate my trainer. |

By the last week of the month you'll have the possibility of picking up over 100 points per day, thats more than a half hour of riding! Add that to a steady diet of 30-60 minute rides and peel of 10 lbs (1,000 points) and we're talking some big numbers! Nice effort Karen, I could see in your log that it's not always easy to get on the trainer and hopefully everyone is getting the inspiration from each other! Results to date:

I would normally settle to bed and watch Two and a Half Men followed by King of Queens and doze off but I watched while on the trainer. Didn't make the full hour but 40 min is better than no min! |

I got home from work and noticed that you had posted the workout and added it to my spreadsheet. Yep, December is normally a pretty lazy month and many people slack off a bit, only to make a New Years resolution to get back on track. Hopefully this will help many of us avoid that and we'll go into January with a decent base from a month's worth of riding!!

I've been trying to so the same thing! Once I get into a routine of getting up earlier to ride, it's no problem. It's just the first week or so that's brutal! Yesterday I was somewhat successful. This morning was a total failure....I don't even remember the alarm going off the first two times! Then I bargained with myself that I could go back to sleep, but I'd have to do at least 75 minutes on the trainer tonight. |
