In apparel not quite suited for a tri... but here I am... sans facial hair for the first time in 20+ years...

Me at a local 5k. I'm dressed as the Flash -It was Halloween but only a handful of people dressed up and most of them were bringing up the rear

me at my first tri- I learned a lot.  this bike was replaced this year by a tri bike that fits me

P.S. Thee bottom one was my first Tri, no one told me you dont sit down during T1, I learned quickly!!

Here are two photos from last month in Joshua Tree National Park in California.  Outward Bound, with a grant from Sierra Club, sponsored members of my unit for a Vets program for military vets from OEF and OIF.  6 days of backpacking, climbing and rappelling.
