Yeah, I've pretty much given up on that effort. In all seriousness, I'm slowly accepting the fact that I may very well never get married. Now I know people say "Oh, don't say that, there's someone for everyone", but the reality is that there isn't. There are women in my church, nice women, pretty, smart, etc, who have never been married, even though they may have wanted to be previously. So no, it doesn't happen for everyone. Time to start a nice cat collection then. Nah - I decided on small doggies. Even though I prefer big dogs, small doggies are better than cats, but more manageable in large quantities Cats are funnier. |
They're thinking a Septemberish wedding. LOoks like i'll have to start looking for another roommate again soon.

Merp jumps up on this amoire that is our bedroom... loves sleeping up there, we put a cat bed up there... and in the middle of the night she'll POUNCE on us. Its hilarious. The other day, Griffin and Taji were staring each other down and walking in a circle. Eventually, Griffin smacked Taji in the head and ran away and then they chased each other through the house. It was pretty funny. |

I know, I saw it. I'm realistic about it, don't worry. I'm not in a rush to the altar like a lot of girls I know, I haven't been planning my wedding since 2nd grade or anything like that. You are STILL young. Why are you freaking out? It ain't that hard to GET married. Its much harder to STAY married. BTW, I'm getting tired of people saying I'm the Anti-Christ for not immediately dropping everything, including my job, and moving to Connecticut. Believe me: You're not. Wanna buy my house? I might be getting out if the prospects don't pick up soon. It's tough to find work out there and I'll likely (despite the wife's wishes) have to relocate. |

I'd post the thread URL but its really a waste of time to read it when people start quoting Dr. Laura... There were more people in there discussing their like/dislike of humidity than there were reaming you. And did you expect any different when you posted a story and asked for opinions on a website? I could make a post here about how I liked to eat York pepperming patties and get the same thing over the course of 9 pages. You just need to make your decision on what you're going to do, discuss it with the people who are important in your life instead of a ton of random people on an internet forum, and stick to that decision. |
