Subject: RE: what is your height and weight?

I am 5' 1" and am 145 pounds.  Besides my two pregnancies, I have always been a steady weight...never really fluctuating.  I wish I was lighter, and since tri training I can tell that I have gained a lot of muscle, but it is frustrating to not see the scale move at all...ever.....I have no idea what my muscle and/or fat percentages are, and do not really want to know.  I eat relatively well (vegetarian), feel great, and feel healthier than I have in years, so I guess that is all that really matters.  Of the women that have posted, I am glad to hear so many of you are happy with your bodies!!  I have never been happy with mine.

KathyG - 2009-10-16 3:28 PM Interesting that mostly men share height and weight and not as many women probably a society thing.

I find it also interesting women that are my height posting here on this thread my lean body mass is often more than what they weigh.

I'm overweight and I know it.  Don't really feel like posting that on a public forum right now, especially when very few of the other posters are overweight.

Yah I didn't put mine down either as you obviously noticed. My body fat is good for a women my age. My number one off season goal right now is try to lean down and so far I've been doing pretty good. Being leaner and lighter is a way to get faster running and cycling.

Definitely makes sense.  I'm trying to do the same thing.  I have some weight to lose and I'd like to focus on that.  I know it will help with running and cycling if I can get rid of the excess weight.

clarkka7 - 2009-10-16 7:50 PM 5'3" and 138lbs as of today. I have lost 32lbs in the last 12 weeks and hope to end up somewhere around 120 or so.

Congratulations on the weight loss!!  That's really impressive.

I'm just under 6 feet tall (less than a quarter inch) and 248 pounds.  That's down from 297 in January.  That's also down from my fattest about 6 years ago of 349.

Currently 6'  155lbs up from 130lbs a few years ago before I started working out.  I used to be a skinny fat guy.  Now at least girl scouts can't beat me up.

6' @ 130 lbs? Seriously?  That is crazy.

I am 6' at 177 lbs.  Many years ago I got to 165 and got a lot of comments about being sick looking so I guess it depends on your frame.  I can't imagine being at 130 lbs.

I'm just a hair under 6'1" and tend to hover right around 152. I actually have at least 5 lbs that I plan to lose from my mid-section, we'll see just how much it turns out to be. Aside from that, the only way to get lower would be breast reduction -- the 34D's must weigh at least 10 lbs! But hubby doesn't like that plan!

5'4" and 119 pounds... and around 21% body fat. So not real lean.

I am down from 129 pounds in August 2008.

I can fit into my skinny jeans again! What I learned: Just because you are doing 10-20 hours of cardio a week, it doesn't mean you get to eat like a complete piggy.

You hate being tall? really? I'm 5'9.5", and would LOVE to have a couple more inches of height. You can send them all over if you want :-)

5' 8.5" 180ish right now, just bumped back up to double digit body fat (not impressed). Going to try to get below 170 this season, would love to see 165, but doubtful.

I'm 5 feet 0 inches and 175lbs and down from 240, as of 2/7/08. Chart below says I'm supposed to be between 90-115. I would like to lose more weight but I don't think that weight is achievable or healthy for me. However, what I've noticed is that my clothing size has changed faster than my weight and for a woman getting closer to single digits is AWESOME!
