Subject: what is your height and weight?

6'0"  - 183 lbs.

since i have started tri's i was at about 196 lbs, lots of muscle due to being a gym rat.  but it seems even after a full year of no weights just s/b/r still maintaining 183.

alot of people tell me i look very thin.  i would like to be at 175 lbs.  i think it will improve my run.  you all think that i am taking in too many calories?

any good nutritional guides for triathletes?

149-153 lbs depending.

Big change from my Bodybuilder 225.

Trix a lot of times the body knows what weight is "ideal" better than we do.
Try dropping 250kcal a day and see how you feel / what happens.

down from 262 a year and half ago, and up 10 from my summer low of 226 in July

I think i could be comfy at 200-205, but i need to look at my nutrition..or lack thereof. Nutrition and running more...alot more are the winter projects, we will see.....

5'10" and I sit between 150 and 160 every day.  I know what I look like down to 135 and it's impossible to maintain and SCRAWNY.  I don't like it when people say I'm skinny, I think it's an insult, and I don't want to be skinny.

Being lighter will improve your running, sure.  You'll see even more marked improvements if you get down to 175 by running a whole lot.

I have no idea how many calories you are taking in.  I have no idea how many I take in, so I'm not much help there.

6'-7"    -   235-245 lbs.

235 when I cut candy, soda, and beer from my daily consumption.  People tell me I'm skinny all the time and are surprised to find out how much I weigh.  Somebody told me last week that I was the slimmest 240 pounder they'd ever seen.  (whatever that means.)

I was 230 lbs when I started training. I got down to 165 but I started eating a lot more after I bonked on the bike a few times.

6'2" - 175lbs right now.  I typically maintain about 170lbs when training regularly and aim to be somewhere under 170lbs on race day.

5'10" - 197  Down from 225 this time last year.

I want to get down to 180 for next season.  However, like someone said, my body likes to keep some fat on it, these last 20lbs are going to be a BIT*H to drop. My goal is to maintain this weight through the holidays and start the droppage in January.  Breaking even during this time of year would be a HUGE win for me.

6'0" or so and 157ish usually.  Down from a flabby 180 three years ago when I was getting manboobs.  I'm really not interested in losing more weight though apparently I can (I was at 154 this morning...)  When people comment that you look too skinny or ask you if you've been sick recently, you're probably within 5 or 10 pounds of your ideal weight.   Its odd, but as a society we've gotten so used to seeing overweight people that 20 lbs overweight looks normal, 10 lbs overweight looks skinny, and ideal weight looks sickly!

I don't count calories.  I try to eat only when I'm hungry and try to avoid unhealthy snacks.  I don't drink calories except for OJ in the morning, some gatorade during longer workouts, and some soy milk as a recovery drink.  I keep a bowl of apples, bananas, and trail mix in my office so I'm snacking on healthy stuff and I'm not overly hungry when lunch and dinner come along.

5'8" about 165, trying to drop down 10 lbs at the start of '10

I was down to about 155 two summers ago, but at that bodyfat, I was still pretty skinny, and I've got a big head so I had the lollypop look, hopefully this time around, 155 at about 9-10% bodyfat I won't look so skinny.  I'm also hoping the lighter weight will shave some time off of my running and biking pace.

Same exact numbers as you.  6', I was 198 in May this year for my first tri.  Cut back on the lifting, lost some weight, and I'm at 183 now.  Shooting for 175 next season.  I haven't changed my diet.

6'0 and 165-170 right now.  I've been bouncing around a lot due to an extremely busy schedule, but once I start training religiously I drop down to 160.  I slowly gain to 165 over the first 2 months of training (I'm hoping that's from gaining muscle) and I stay there.
