Added an hour run this morning . weather was very refreshing and breezy . perfect to blow out the cobwebs and get my week started .

I will need to get on the bike to hit my high  mileague goal . Some good news : our pool is reopened after being closed all last week .

Tried the pool at lunch but it was still being worked on .

Shame as it was a nice day to swim .  60F

Blew off my morning trainer ride... it was one of those mornings that the bed was just so d@mn confortable. I kept telling myself... "OK, one more minute and then I'm getting up!" Next thing I know, it's an hour and a half later and I'm late for work. It felt GRRRREAT! I'll hit the gym at lunch for either a spin or a run. Still on target for my "double-up week". 110% is the December goal!!!

Ugh. If its not one thing its another. Seem to have picked up a bug....feel like crapola but better than yesterday. I will try and get an easy spin on the trainer to keep up with the challenge.

That was me this morning as well! Will try to get my cycle in tonight to make up for it.

Sorry you're going thru such a tough time Boz!!!  Take care.

Got another bike in this morning -- should go over on that one so hope we can get extra credit.

Swim tonight -- I'm trying to have a good attitude about it

I need to adjust my second goal as i have no way to accurately measure whether i have made any progress ,  my scale is just not accurate ,  the variation can be as much as 8 lbs.

I am proposing to split up my first goal into two  chunks .  So i still have two goals but that they are both measurable .

1-    175 mi  bike swim walk  etc

2-     75 mi  running

I think we need approval for this. Let me ask.

Just glad I don't share a pool with you   Don't overdo it tho and make your crud hang around even longer.

I swam again tonight!  I think the trick for me staying warm is to have dinner beforehand.  I was feeling mellow and smooth and warm   Didn't hurt that hubby and I were the only ones there.

Weightloss is such a tricky thing in a challenge even if you can measure accurately -- it's not like you can do 2-a-days to catch up w/ your goal.  And w/ tri training I can see a difference in the mirror even when the scale doesn't budge.

Keep up the great work Elves!!!  We're closing in on 1st and 2nd!!

These fourms really need a go to last read post option! Hadn't realised I'd missed out a few post.
Sorry to hear about your situation Boz, hope it all works out well in the end!

Went for my first cycle in the rain last night and, apart from my chain coming off at one point, it was quite refreshing.
Seems I timed my run this morning perfectly as it snowed at some point between me finishing my run and leaving for work about an hour later!

That was my first thought too

Goooood Morning, Elves!  It seems like everyone has stepped it up a notch!  I did a 40 min bike on the trainer this morning.  Was shooting for 45 minutes, but had to hop off the bike to stop my cat from peeing on the carpet (I guess my bike was blocking her way to the litter box).  Anyway, I'm now 87.5% of my goal for the month.

I got a run in yesterday and a short ride in this morning. Will try and ride again on Saturday. Will try and meet my cycling goal this weekend so then all I have to worry about is the running during the Xmas week.

Have a great day everyone!

Boz

The snow has finally hit London this morning, so decided to miss out my cycle ride as my route takes me down a couple of side roads that were under a few inches of snow. Guess I'll switch my rest day tomorrow and today's cycle to make sure I don't fall behind (I actually have 1 cycle in hand but who knows how much more snow is coming).
