rnihill - 2010-02-02 10:32 AM OK, this is a dumb question coming from someone who has done a few challenges now... but how do I get this in my log?
A couple of ways. Here are two: Method #1 - Highlight the table. Copy it (CTRL + C) - At the top of the screen, click 'settings" - Click Training Blog Customization - Click Dashboard - Paste the table (CTRL + V) If that doesn't work.... Method #2 will be described in the next post. Here's the revised table:

KOM - I hear you on the bad day yesterday.  I am hoping I can change the minds of the powers that be.  If not, this will be one of my last posts, and who knows if I'll make any goals (which I finally put on the spreadsheet) or what time, if any, I will have for family and other activities.

Hm. I obviously missed something here. Whose mind do you need to change?

I'll let you borrow a taser or two, if you think it'll help!

I'll run a challenge about the same time I post a pick of myself in a Wendy's wig and toenail polish...or about the same time you post ANY pic of yourself on BT...

The elusive Dee...

Heh. Well said..... I have no comeback comment for that one. LOL

BTW, how do you change the 'percentage' to include 1 number behind the decimal point instead of 2?

Just curious.  Anyone proficient in Google docs?

Not easily.... Here's one way:

=TEXT( X6 ; "#.0%" )

(Where x6 is the cell where your info is stored.)

If you look on the spreadsheet, I've made 2 entries. (Scroll to the right of all the totals, and look for the green box.) One entry shows % of the month completed using 3 decimal places. The other shows it with just 1 decimal place.

You can also put formulas in, rather than cell locations. For example, say you wanted to divide "cell X6" by 28, and show the result with one decimal place:
=TEXT( (X6/28) ; "#.0%" )

Hey team! I am just stopping by on my way to the Y. There is hopefully 50 minutes of lap swim tonight starting at 8:20. Only 2 lanes so I hope the big kids don't kick me out for being so slow.  I am only doing a short set so we'll see. I need to get something going toward my goal this month!!

Hi everyone!  I am a little late getting in the game.  Who would have thought that three days into the month and the team would already have 10 pages of posts?!  I did a challenge in Nov. and Dec. and loved that it forced me to get off the couch.

Not sure what my goal is yet.  Swimming is truly my love, but I often neglect is to be sure to get in my bike & run.  Therefore, that might be a good love goal.  I hate running, but LOVE that I am getting faster than ever before, so I might choose that as my love goal.  Hmmmmm...

What? Only 10 pages? We're slackers this month.

You can specify more than 1 goal on the spreadsheet, but only the "love goal" counts towards the challenge. So if you decide to enter the non-love goals on the spreadsheet, they'll still show up and "remind" you that they need to be done, at least!

boy, I wish.  short version - my work load appears about ready to double.  I'll know (presumably) by Friday.
On a good note, got a 4 mile run in tonight - just want the Dr. ordered.  It was cold (25, 16 degree windchill) and I didn't dress quite right apparently as I was cold. Everybody showed, (my training partners) Buster, Headwind, & tailwind  Splits of 9:13, 9:16, 8:56, 8:54.  Goal was 9:00 m/m.  almost made it.

I'd like to try Erica's Lara bars.  I'm addicted to "tony horton's sticky bars"  (sounds dirty) which is why I don't make them - sooo good.
Good night folks!

Nice run - good times!  I'm guessing that the doubling of the workload doesn't come with a doubling of the salary....  Never seems to work out like that...

I am in a grumpy mood.  Not sure why.  Woke up fine and the kids are off to school yet I find myself in a bad mood.  I'm off to run so maybe I can outrun the crabbiness???  Who am I kidding, I'm not that fast!  Busy day so this is probably my only post.  Catch you all later and hopefully I'll be in a better mood.

Oh, I'll post the Larabar recipe too.  Pretty good!

Got in a solid swim and bike yesterday, but was not able to get the short run in.  It was in the mid 30's and raining and I am not a fan of hypothermia...  Set the alarm for this morning - still cold and raining...  Looks like a TM run for me at lunch and hopefully it quits raining so that I can run a couple of miles after my team swim tonight!  Going for two doses of lovin' today

Welcome Ann-Marie.  The first step is admitting we are powerless over BT addiction.

Short 950 yd. swim this morning.  Eventually, one day, I'll actually get some of my 'love' miles in (running).  So far, zero miles.    I've been doing far too much swimming and biking.

Have a great day Hugs...

Looking forward to that recipe!

rest day for me today (according to my training schedule) but I will be playing ball LATE tonight, so, unknown if I'll be out for wings and beer afterwards.  Snow supposed to start around midnight.  boo.

Still waiting on the final decision on that work thing.  Have a trial set Monday, so that's going to slow me some in any event.  have a good one folks!

Good Day, Huggies (our internal name, don't publicise!) All that being said, I felt like a huggies "occupant" last few days, but getting better, thankfully!

Interesting conversation about foul moods. I have had a dark cloud over my head for 2 days, think it is lifting, now. Not sure. My beautiful wife is probably thinking..."man, you not fit to live with!" We are all in sync!

Anyway, little brick for me today, then nothing until Half Mary on Sunday morning. No spin Sat morning!! I fear taper madness will set in & I will go anyway!

Hopefully once Half is done, can seriously get into my running goal, which looks a bit optimistic, with only 3 weeks left in month, but heck...you guys will save me.

Supposed to have big snowstorm tomorrow, so my be housebound tomorrow...might be a chance to do some goal # 3 training!!!

Have a good day folks...

PS. Welcome Ann Marie, the poet!!!!

I hear you on the BAN FEBRUARY BLUES.  That said tonight's spin has some blues and a few other interesting tunes.  We will do our warm-up intervals to Atman, the 5 minutes version but HERE is a great short clip on the talent of Rodrigo, half of Rodrigo y Gabriela.  Nothing like tunes to banish a foul mood!!!

Couldn't resist one more so you see Gabriela who does this crazy percussive playing  HERE
