Trying to get out for a run/core workout today. First one back from last week being sick and not being able to handle much. I still get a bit winded when I walk a ways but we will see how it goes. Upping my mileage this week (see how that goes after a week off) from 2.0 miles to 2.5 on my way to 13.1 - before my first 1/2 mary in Nov. The one in Sept had to be removed from the schedule. Slow and steady to help try and save the knees. It is 50 and sunny today but need to get out - last weeks eating was terrible. Only gained .8 lbs on vacation which was a success but then the scale said another 1.6 today. Blah... Aiming for below 140 again...

After bonking from Sundays workout... I lost the peach yesterday.    But I got it back today with strength training and a short swim

Anne...just walk if you've been that sick!

Peach....my last time working with the pool piglet.  Going to swim on my own.  He has not helped me progress in the past 2 years and I'm tired of non answers.

Good advice Judi, I am about to head out and see how it goes. I am glad you are ditching the pool piglet, sounds like it's gotten stale

I've failed

I went 2 nights with about 3 hours of sleep. Yesterday I kept putting off working out figuring I'd do yoga after my daughter went to bed if I didn't get anything else in. I put her to at 7:45 and I'm pretty sure I was asleep before she was.

But, back on the wagon today with a swim. Going to keep going and try for an peach-1 month, and try again next month.

Hey all, I haven't checked in in what feels like forever!  I was doing great - even stayed peachy this weekend while I was out of town and running a crazy schedule, but I've fallen off the wagon these past couple of days.  Been run down and still trying to work, so training hasn't seemed too appealing.

I'll get back to it ASAP.
