Are all time trials in TdF the same distance?

Ya Craig came on this morning...haha...for about 3minutes...he didn't say anything useful. Haha

It was inspiring to watch them and pedal nowhere

What marathon are you training for?

Does that help the secondary challenge?

Nope.  They are different distances and courses.

Sweet! I'm doing the Nike Women's in San Fran. A bunch of girls in my class and I put in a lottery entry and we all got in! I'm pretty excited. Doing it on my B-day! Woohoo marathons...well, I can't really say that, as I haven't done one yet...so possibly woohoo marathon?! Haha

That's awesome!  They have the best finishers medal!  One of the girls I train with did it last year and really enjoyed it.

I did a tri on my birthday once and wrote it on the back of my calf.  I got more birthday wishes than any other one.  I'd definitely recommend putting something on the back of your shirt. 

Haha. I know! I'm excited for the finisher's medal...and the fire fighters! Mmmm.

Didn't get my ride in last night, will be riding to work tomorrow to make up for it.

Then race this weekend for the next stage!

I got my ride in yesterday. I rode 24+ miles home from work. I enjoyed it enough that I want to add it to my weekly routine. I was surprised to run into some horse traffic. I came up a little fast and startled a couple of them. oops. I slowed down as soon as I saw them but there wasn't a lot I could do coming around a corner. Right after that I passed a sign saying horses aren't allowed. 

I have a swim break scheduled for lunch and run for this evening.

There are a lot of signs around this area for horses and to watch out for them on the trails but never seen one out riding.

I passed multiple sets of horses yesterday. The group that I spooked had six or seven and two of them were startled when I came around the corner.

One thing I think is crazy is that if you are walking your dog and it leaves something on the trail, you have to pick it up. However, when a horse leaves something, you don't even have to move it off the pavement.

Perhaps you could collect it from the pavement and make a little spending cash.  haha

So post padding is the PRIMARY challenge, and making my backside go numb on a bicycle seat is the SECONDARY challenge? OK. I can live with that.

I'd only be able to sign up for 5K training. LOL

Why can't he learn how to pronounce names correctly?

I want to throw things at him when he does that. However, it would break my TV set, so I don't.....

Well gee. I'm on a post padding roll --- but I've run out of posts to reply to.

Guess I'll just have to make up some post padding fluff as I go.

*Grumble* I just looked up their stats on the TdF website, and it's all in FRENCH.

That would be fine, if I was able to understand French.

Guess I need to either enroll in a Berlitz crash-course, or else find an English website.

ETA: Whoops. I probably shouldn't have said 'crash' when discussing this year's TdF....
