All you New York people were supposed to make sure you had good weather this week. My wife isn't going to have much fun being a tourist in the rain.

I heard you! I just got back from my run for the day and I already did my planks - all done. Off to work on my Halloween costume!

Oooh, fun!  What kind of costume?

Pirate! I've been many things but never a pirate.

Awesome!  I may have to borrow your idea...  Embarassed    My kids are almost 4 and 6 and they like to have the whole family dress up as a theme...  Two years ago, my daughter decided that we were going to be the 3 little pigs and the big bad wolf.  She was the wolf, and the rest of us were pigs.  This year they both want to be Tinkerbelll...  They are trying to convince hubby that he should be Peter Pan "since he is a boy".   I could be a pirate!  The other option they gave me was a mermaid from the lagoon...  I do not see myself in a mermaid costume...

Believe me...  if I could help her out with some drier weather I would!

I'm not the mermaid type either. My mom complains that all through childhood I had no interest in pretty halloween costumes. When I was 2 or 3 she made me a unicorn costume. After that I wasa vamire multiple times, ninja turtle (Leonardo), power ranger, zombie twice... At least this year I'm making a pretty costume...  :D

It's neat that they like to dress up everyone according to a theme, and even greater that you two go along with it. So many adults think Halloween is for kids only. I love to dress up and I'm 25 without kids or friends with kids. My favorite time of the year! I think we should have a chance to dress is costume at least once a month (without being considered nuts).

I had a Halloween cosume party a couple of weeks before Christmas once.

I was just going to say - at least you got top page. No time requirements unless you specified it in your challenge goals. For example, I need to complete 2 hours of plank. If you put sessions you're alright!

x2 on that. I work at a boring place where no one will dress up. My first Halloween here I checked with my boss and a few coworkers and they said it was ok and some said they would dress up. I guess they decided to play a joke on the new guy (I had been there about two weeks). I was the only one of about 150 people that dressed up.

Back in college I talked to some friends that were over planning activities and got them to plan a halloween costume party about a month before school let out for the year.

Hello Stacie. Glad to see you could join us. How's life in OK? Warm and dry unlike other parts of the country?

You know Bill, I don't mind you encouraging injured members of our group to take a break. You know, since they're injured and all, they get to adjust their goals based on how much time they are off due to injury/illness. So thanks for helping to look after the welfare of our group. We appreciate it.

I just like that they are still more focused on the creative/dressing up/fun part of Halloween and not so much the candy part of Halloween.  Don't get me wrong...  they LOVE the candy!  You can't avoid Halloween so I figure we may as well emphasize the positives.  It's harder for me, not having a creative bone in my body...  my mother loves Halloween and always had great costume ideas for me when I was growing up.  My favorite was the year I was a stop light.  We took a big box, cut arm holes and painted it yellow.  We then stucks some cans out the front and back and covered them up with green, yellow and red cellophane.  My dad rigged it up so I had switches and I could actually turn my lights red, yellow and green like a stop light!

Not only does my work allow us to dress up...  we have a costume parade, a costume contest, a department decorating contest and an apple dunking contest in the afternoon.  But we're a little weird here.
