need to up your bike goal? So, hum - was it 'cause of option A, or option B? I think I know the answer --> Evil Dee's smack talk lit a fire under you. Actually, I may hit my swim goal by the end of this week (not sure yet - it'll be close), which means I'd need to increase my goal, too. I had no idea I was going to do this much in the pool. (I'm already way over my entire August swim total!) Who knew..... But it's a good thing. I think. My arms are ready to fall off. LOL On the other hand, my biking is lagging behind. I'll have to correct that - we do NOT want the East Team to lose its lead!!!! Go East! Dee

he he - it would serve you right if you have to increase your swim  goal!  LOL

I have passed my entire month of August for time in the saddle - The mileage doesn't quite reflect it cuz of spinning - but, it's the time that counts.

I swam 4,000 yds this morning to get back on track for the swim - i think my arms will fall off as soon as i'm done posting this message

Go Central!

Ok, here's where I'm at as of right now - this is not my official post - not yet anyway - lol

September's totals:
Bike:10h 33m  - 110.77 Mi
Run:1.5 Mi
Swim:6h 31m 20s  - 16400 Yd

If I get motivated later I may try and get in a ride as well - what was I thinking when I upped my goal to 14 hrs?  I'll get 'er  done though - don't worry!

Another one on track here...

Swim - 17200/20000m, 86% completed
Bike - 158.5/200k, 79.25% completed

I have a planned 40k bike ride coming up this Friday but I will extend it to 41.5 to make it 200 km even. Laughing

I will finish the swim challenge with two easy 1400m swims during my active recovery rest days.
GO EAST!!!!

I'm on track for finishing as well.  Here's where I am as of today:

Bike: 78.18miles/100 miles (78.18%)
Swim: 16,700m/25,000m (66.8%)

I know it looks like I'm low on swimming, but I tend to do pretty long swims.  I'll be finishing up this week.

Swim: 21050 Yd
Bike: 167.77 Mi

Percentages completed:
Swim: 87.7%
Bike: 90.7%

I'm surprised that I'm so close to my bike goal. It's probably because I felt like I was falling behind, so I really pushed biking the last few days.

Go East! (I don't wanna display a Twinkietar!)

Well, count my earlier post as my official post.

I was pretty pooped after my swim.  plus, I got to thinking about it, and I see no reason that I should have any problems finishing up  the goals successfully next week.

GO CENTRAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far...

Bike : 111 miles... definitely on track, with the MS150 coming up this weekend!

Swim: 8931.2 meters

So... I accidentally hit my swim goal early, so I guess I'm upping it for the last week (although with the MS150 this weekend, not planning to swim too much... but should be ok).

Go EAST!!!

I do have a ways to go but I'm planning a 40 mile ride this weekend (By myself) so that'll bring me closer and I'm swimming all this week to help aid with my sore hip.

I won't let you down West. I won't! I promise!

Well, I'm working on the swim but during this month I've gotten three workouts scratched.  Two for weather and one because the lifeguards cleared the water at the beach due to a mass of jellyfish...this is getting a little frustrating.

My bike goal is already met  and I should still get the swim in as long as I don't have any more roadblocks...

Let's close this puppy out EAST!!!

OK everyone, this is getting closer and closer as we count down to the end!

East has the lead in the Individual % but Central has the overall lead in the Combined % stats.  West has slipped a bit into 4th and the World team has made a big push this week into 3rd making it a close race.  Who will it be at the end...

I have a lot of riding to do this week, thank goodness my wife returns today as Mr. Mom hasn't been able to do any training!

Donto,

I was out of town yesterday, so I just posted my weekend ride - 15.7 mi. That should help a little, although it's really my swimming that's lagging this month. How do y'all motivate when the weather is cold? I just don't want to get half-naked when it's less than 80 degrees outside!

I'll drag my hiney down to the pool right now (sigh) ...

Trish

Go WEST!

Those inconsiderate jellyfish. Don't they understand how important your swims are? Hmph!

Tell 'em that if they don't leave the beach soon, you're going to turn them into TWINKIES!

I got motivated by moving south.

And as soon as I start feeling cold again, I'll probably just move MORE south. (Florida, here I come!)

Need to reset goals once again. I have been finding way more time than I thought I would to ride.

I will try for 500 miles on the bike this month. It's a lot easier to make miles on the bike when you are not swimming (or running for that matter)

Lets go ROW!!!

Finish strong!

I am in better shape than I might have appeared. Log is now updated. Should have no trouble finishing this out by the end of the week.
