To be sure, I have to put myself in "BRB" mode whenever an Interval is higher intensity spinup is required. I actually long for the day when I can ride outside again Ortho says not yet you will be able to soon I'm sure! well, maybe you could teach others to train and post at the same time as for me, I can't do them at the same time, but I'm really good at posting fast inbetween workouts |

Champion 5345 Carlsbad, California | Subject: RE: Team Ride Lots Did 30 on the Trainer tonight. I think I am still worn out from this morning's V02Max workout at the track because I could barely get my HR into Zone 1 and keep it there. (Just did not feel like I had any power) Gonna do another hop in the morning, and maybe some sleep will help Goal: 700 Edited by WaterDog66 2008-01-11 12:40 AM |

Expert 968 Wellington, North Island | Subject: RE: Team Ride Lots Hey everyone, I've been a bit out of touch this week due to a tough work schedule. This challenge however, has really helped me keep up with my training. Last night I couldn't climb on the trainer until 10:30 p.m. and I put in an hour. Were it not for this challenge, quite honestly, I would probably have let it slide. Thanks for participating so I have a challenge to be a part of! |

You are right, it is a great motivation! I got up early this morning to get my miles in before going to run a 5K! Wasn't looking to pr the run or have it any more than a hard training run anyways, but you are right, I would have probably skipped the ride if it weren't for the challenge! |

Expert 851 Oceanside, CA | Subject: RE: Team Ride Lots Hi all. Sorry I've been absent. DH got orders to another base and started work there this week. Our schedule has been messed up because of it, plus I've been very busy at work (which is where I can normally check in from during the week day). I did manage to get to the gym tonight to reintroduce my behind to the saddle, and will be going back again tomorrow and as often as possible after that. I kind of figured this was going to happen, which is why I set my goal so low. Now, off to find a soft pillow to sit on. Edited by MrsUSMC 2008-01-12 9:43 PM |

Will you be relocating as well? I'm up to 156 miles complete for the challenge. Less than 100 to go. Next weekend is skiing. Hope I am not my normal graceful self on the slopes! Pam |

1) Go to: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=puhAA5NRKHA25IlIgVRKVTw&hl=e... 2) You will need to enter this info: email address: [email protected] password: challengeforum 3) The ONLY column that you will need to update is "Total Completed to Date." This is the total amount that you have completed as of the reporting date. 3) You can update the spreadsheet as often as you'd like. However.... Your cumulative amounts must be entered in this spreadsheet by Sunday evening, your time on the following days: - Jan 6 - Jan 13 - Jan 20 - Jan 27 - Jan 31 4) If you have trouble using this spreadsheet, please let your Team Captain know. He/she will be able to help you, or will enter the data for you. |

I don't know what you know about California but he's been transferred from Camp Pendleton to Miramar Air Station which is just down the road, so to speak, but with traffic being like it is, it's an hour commute each way, every day. I have been working in that area for 2 years, but now that both of us are there, we're going to move down that way. I think we have a schedule that will work for both of us now. |

I suspect some folks forgot to enter data in their spreadsheet. you may want to PM them or check their logs Captain Scott -- I've done some work for you. You may want to check on your missing teammates, or on those whose numbers are "kablooey." Here's what I found: DougD - has 7.5 mi in the spreadsheet, but 0 on his log. He has been logging on, but has not been updating anything in his log. (Why is there more on the spreadsheet than in his log?) BozNC - has an injury, so he's unable to ride. Terri (MrsUSMC) - checked in earlier, I think? She has 2.5 entered in the spreadsheet, but only 1.5 on her log. (See note under DougD's name.) Smeador - hadn't updated the spreadsheet. I've done it. DoloresM2 - has 32.4 listed on her log, and 42.4 listed on the spreadsheet. (See note under DougD's name.) With the updates that I just did, Team Ride Lots is now at 37.71%. That actually moves you ahead of Team T.I.T.S. (Although, technically, I should knock people back down to their log amounts, if those are lower than the spreadsheet values. So you may want to talk to them about updating their logs, too.) :) |
