No, I'm not in a race to pad my post count....though this is the Nibbs I thought everyone is in a race to pad their post counts.... Hm... Oh, c'mon - I posted a very substantive post on polenta. Certainly that isn't post padding. Do I know what polenta is? I know what polska kielbasa is, but I'm not sure about polenta... |

MMMM. Order by the 1/2 pound and sides, and a couple good glasses of wine. MMMMM. |

Race report from this weekend... I just can't get over the fact that you wore a wetsuit and the water was 78 degrees, okay 77.9. Uh...wetsuits help me...my swim time last year sans wetsuit: 42 min. My swim time this year with wetsuit: 30 min. An improvement in 44 seconds per 100 yards...heck yeah, I'll take it... I don't have a lot of body fat...I get cold in ANY water... O.K., granted, I did spend a lot of time in the pool this winter, so I don't know how much is due to the wetsuit, and how much to improved swimming... hehehehehe.... you like flotation!!!!! I NEED flotation. If I stop my stroke and quit kicking, I slowly sink to the bottom of the pool... In Sal's defense... most of the people at the event wore wetsuits... you should have heard the cheer go up when they announced that they were "legal". Of course, it took so long for them to come back with the water temperature that I suspect that they were looking for the coldest spot in the lake to take the temp. Sharon! most excellent timing |
