No. lol I just thought it was a beautifully worded sentence and could apply to so much about life in general. The universal in the particular. I've been reading too much poetry. I have a couple different friends who tried lighter colored tattoos and were disappointed or went back to redo them. I'd say find someone with your skin tone who has one from that artist and see what you think first. |

It's who he is now that counts. I have a hunch he's laying low and will come back fighting maybe a confess all statement followed by being an ambassador to cleanup cycling!!! Anyway we ain't heard the last of mr Armstrong that's for sure. I don't know. I'm not sure he knows how to lay low. A confess all statement would go a long way, but some (on other forums, other threads) have suggested that he could face legal problems if he confessed now. . . Everyone else who confessed got some kind of deal, leniency etc...surely he can get the same. He's not a stupid guy, far from it, but i think everyone expects honesty now. That's all. |

Basically, first one to sing gets the deal ( unless they were the worst of the group). After that, I didn't need your testimony for anything. That said, if you pled guilty and saved me from a trial you'd get a better deal then after I took you to trial, spending tons of money in the process while putting victims through hell. after trial, id ask the judge to sentence you to whatever i thought you deserved. In Lance's case, i don't know what new info he can bring to the table for them to offer him any deal. He may have something and/ or his admission may be worth it to them, so if he came clean he still might get out from under a life time ban. I think coming clean now could be very costly to him in other areas, eg, he got bonuses for his achievements that he would probably have to pay back.Asalzwed - 2012-10-17 5:46 PM jobaxas - 2012-10-17 5:37 PM KansasMom - 2012-10-18 7:16 AM jobaxas - 2012-10-17 3:53 PM I totally love the fallen hero LA. that race video for cancer survivors tipped him back unfavourable. Master 7712 Orlando | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty Straight-Up Ridiculous Manatees Part 5 - FULL So, I'm in Delray Beach ( just north of ft. Launder dale) at a seminar thu Friday. The hotel is right on the beach and is quite nice. We have one of these seminars yearly and they are always on the beach. We actually sit thru the entire seminar, but at 4 all bets are off. The only downside this year is this morning I got a shot in the joint of one of my toes ( good times) and the doctor asked me not to run for a couple of days. So, I do not get to run on the beach as the sun comes up. Very disappointing. Instead, I'll be in the gym pedaling a stationary bike Now I am off to find a nice pub! |

That being said, however, I think most of us are harder on ourselves than others would be on us. He has the opposite problem. He blame shifts and doesn't take responsibility for any of it. I was also thinking, if he were to confess, what does he confess to? Doping? Pushing? Bullying? Intimidating? Threatening? I don't see how he can admit to the doping without also admitting to all of the other horrible things people have been saying about him. And who knows if even half of those horrible things are true or not. I'm sure he didn't see himself as the horrible villain some have cast him as. Edited by KansasMom 2012-10-17 7:00 PM |

I just got this from Road ID. They are giving a $10 gift card to anyone who completes the challenge. http://www.strava.com/challenges/road-id-lace-em-up-challengeSound like anyone we know? Yikes! Good luck with the challenge, Chris! I know you will do it. And yeah, I'm a Road ID user and believer. I wear it biking 100% of the time and running most of the time. I wear an ankle one for biking, and I keep it in my helmet with my gloves, etc. when I'm not riding, so I see it and have to do something with it (like put it on) if I want to put my helmet on. Running: I have one for my wrist but it doesn't always 'live' with my other running stuff and occasionally doesn't get put on. And you know how I love free stuff!!! The first time I read it I thought you meant yourself, too and I was about to kick your azz. Speaking of free stuff, I was asked to be a lab rat for the new Brooks Pure 3 line. That's awesome! How does one get to do that? Sign up on their website: Lab Rat form They are pretty specific about requirements, but it is definitely worth signing up. COOL! thanks Actually, ya know what? I totally couldn't do it. I'm a nutcase/freak about my shoes and changing them (or more specifically NOT chagning them) - I totally coudn't do that. If they had a CLOTHING lab rat section though, I'd be all over that!! more power to you Salty to be able to rotate between a huge pile of shoes AND now possibly these tester shoes - even if it didn't affect me physically, it would totally screw iwth my mind (changing shoes that often, i mean). I'm kinda crazy about that... That's how I feel about shoes, too. I really wish they had a lab rat clothing program. |
