Yes, but keep in mind that I was living in the basement of a place where my parents were NOT living The townhouse just happens to have one bedroom in the basement. I was living with 2 other adult females. No parental units paying my rent/utilities/doing laundry/making my dinner, etc.

iknowrite? Oh man, my new Ultegra shifters arrived Monday. $180 shipped from chainlove. BALLER. I can't believe places still try and sell Dura-Ace for $400...

That was an awesome deal.  If mine didn't have 105 shifters I would have ordered a set.  So much better than the shifters with the thumb release. 

If I were going to upgrade all the stuff on my bike I'd take a look at the SRAM Red.  Some of it looks pretty slick.

working from home today... of course with the kids here... not much is getting done.

I like the REd too, but it is pricey.  I actually am starting to prefer Campy over Ultegra.  Maybe because it is more rare.

Aside from "buying whatever I want" because I have responsibilities like RENT (or hopefully some day a mortgage), I can do whatever the heck I want too...

Blah blah, you can all bust on me as much as you want... but you're just jealous.

I can buy what I want, do what I want, go where I want... whenever I want. If it means getting some grief for living in the basement... so be it.

I'm not jealous.  When given the option to continue living at home and working from there, or taking the job that moved me to where I am now...I took the job that moved me out.  If that takes some financial hardship, so be it.  If that means I have to sell my car and my bike, I'm fine with it.  Tough to be an adult when you're living with your parents.

I was hoping to put off leaving for the day long enough to see this TAN die, but I guess that's probably not going to happen.  Lots of windshield time in front of me today. 

Yeah, my parents would drive me NUTS. My mother would never be out of my hair. As it is, she can't let go of the fact that I'm not a baby anymore, and I've been out of the house for 10 years! It'd be really frustrating trying to live my own life if my parents were around all the time.

Cedar Falls, Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Davenport.

It'll be about 300 miles total.
