Today sucks. I am working on the lab project today and I went in the freezer to get some RNA samples. Turns out the summer student who was supposed to get the RNA from the cells didn't do that. The cells were frozen down. So I had to get the RNA out before I can start the work I had planned for today and that tacks on an extra hour.

Then as soon as I started that, the fire alarm went off. Arg! We were evacuated for like 20 minutes.

I just want to go home and have a beer.

Niiiice. I agree with him. It's that inner irritation that is just waiting to get out. Usually listening to some music or running calms it down. Unfortunately that's not always an option.

Today I lost my cool (hey it happens) and slammed my phone down.... a little harder than I intended. I let some phrases fly and if the person I was irritated with had been present, it would have been extremely hard not to hit him (although I've never punched anyone). That's when Heidi emailed me and told me I was scary... haha.

I also find it hilarious that Kiley want's to punch people. I would pay to see that... who's with me gentlemen?
