People at the DMV are all morons.
I went to get a new photo license with my updated motorcycle classification. I did my homework, so I knew that it had posted to my license in their database (I know people who know people). So I show up to get my camera card and the guy asks me if I got my card in the mail saying it had posted. I told him no, but it had posted. He decided to argue with me, telling me that if I hadn't gotten a card, then it hadn't posted. I politely asked him to please check, because I am sure it has posted. He gave me a big sigh (like it's hard to type an 8-digit number into a computer) and asked me for my driver's license number. I rattled it off immediately out of memory. He wasn't ready because he was pouting about having to do it, so I had to repeat it slowly.
Sure enough, it had posted. So he digs around and half throws this form at me and says "Fill this out and bring it back when you're done." I immediately handed him the form, already filled out, that I had printed from the DMV website. He actually kinda chuckled at that, and said "Well, you're prepared at least....". So I said "Yeah, and here's the check for $15 made out to PennDOT." Again, he chuckled and said "That was my next question."
Sooo he got me my camera card and told me to take it to the lady at the front, then he said quietly "When she tells you to smile...don't. It pisses her off." and started laughing. Then he said "Thanks bud, have a good one....careful on that bike".
Silly little man.... he didn't have to be rude in the first place.
