egads, it's 'about an hour' until Michael's next race - the big question is - can I stay awake?

Meh. I won't make it. But it was fun to see what he eats all day.

He was pretty good today - chewed a headband the girls left on the floor, but otherwise no problem.

Sugar Daddy is switching between news, beach volleyball, boxing, and classic hockey on the NHL channel. My head hurts.

I think I'm going to sleep.

ahhhhhhhhhhh, the remote thing - that makes me crazy!

I have to admit, that's one thing I like about living alone during the week - channel surfing is pretty much non- existant

I'm a chronic channel surfer. I usually watch 2 shows at once. Hopefully my 3 step program will work.

1- Record one (or both) shows on DVR.

2- Watch one show live.

3- Watch second show later, but fast forward through all the commercials.

Conversation at my house while watching the men's synchronized diving tonight:

son: why are they only wearing the underwear part of their swimming suits?

daughter/me: (giggle). * then I explain speedos*.

daughter: they still scare me though.

me: What? Why do they scare you?

daughter: because they're just so SMALL. That's something it would be OK for a girl to wear, but not a GUY.

So, I guess I have my work cut out for me--and I think we will mount that gun cabinet by the front door after all. She's almost a teenager, after all.

Yes, but she had a great finish and Coventry really messed up going into the wall.

I'm really happy she and Piersol both won.  I love backstroke.  That was one of my events in high school.

Noooo joke!

I hope they make the last two high bar routines available for replay on the NBC website.  I could watch those over and over.  Incredible!

Morning Nibbs

Morning Beth.  Sorry to hear about your cable connection.

I lost my world connection at about 8:30 so I just went to bed because I was wiped out.

Nothing like a good nights sleep to make Tuesday enjoyable (that and a dry commute to work)

Hope everyone had a good evening (or day for you southern hemisphere different time schedule Nibbers)

Morning Bill!

it was a blessing in disguise - I really needed to go to bed and sleep, so that was good

have fun on your commute!

I just realized something, Mila.  That punk guy with Exhibit A in your blog, the movie he's in is the movie that got my sister out of the movie making biz.  She was working for a production company that had a role in making it.  They were moving the company to Mexico to shoot it, then relocating to LA.  Umm... they told her no raise either, so she was going to go from a Charlotte, NC cost of living to an LA one.  She went back to school and got an accounting degree.

Anyhoo, just a random story.

DOH! See?  That whole movie is just shady, starting with your sister and ending with the punk kid hanging on Exhibit A.  "OOooohhh, look at me.... I'm a big Disney star.  Want my script?"   Fortunately she was so not impressed .  She thought it was a fun night and cool to be there and all but she hasn't mentioned it again since.
