Master ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() JBacarella - 2012-06-25 6:56 PM Ernesto- If I have this correct, you were there when Drew Scott beat the pros this week. That must of added some extra electricity to the post event ceremony. Jim, this kid is only 22, we will hear a LOT more about him in the next few years, remember the name. The other one (for short course) is Lukas Verzbikas (19), I really think American triathlon is about to be legendary again like in the 80s. Lots of talent out there. |

Lots of talent out there.I started following the pro's a little bit this past year with the olympic qualifiers. I had heard of Lukas Verzbikes, but I had no idea Dave Scott had a son competing, until yesterday. I think most of have to admit to seeing the ironman world championships on ABC's wide world of sports as kids and seeing Dave Scott compete. |

Master ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I visited the country of Sufferlandia for the first time this morning. I'd been meaning to make a visit there for quite a while. Picked up an iPad recently and it was he perfect device to use for the visit. I did the Revolver ride (Garmin link below) - WU then sixteen 1' intervals at RPE 10 with 1' recoveries. It was a blast - especially loved that the workout was listed as 15 intervals and when you complete the 15th it says the group you're riding with is doing 1 more interval and are you going to man up and join them...of course...how do you stop at that point. Can't wait to try the other ones. No soreness in leg after the ride - love that it's healing. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/192953644 - Gabe : S 8 / B 13 / R 14/ Rest Days 4 ; Total = 35; 33:50'00"

Master ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() ernestov - 2012-06-25 11:25 PM So, July challenge or not? That is the question... July and August are tough months for me - I'll play but just for fun. Hopefully September I will be back running regularly and my schedule will permit some return to frequency and volume. |
