Out running or enjoying a fine glass of red...

Depends on if the knitting forum is as, um, prolific as Nibbs and PostPadders and TAN and well, you know.

I'm taking the day as a rest day.

I only need to swim 1000m before the end of the month to meet my goals - and today was a rest or swim day, so I vote rest.

It's kind of freeing to not have a tri on the schedule...as long as I get my runs in, I'll be OK. Who knew I had gotten so lazy?

I might take today as a rest day too.  I think I can still make my monthly run goal if I do that.  I only need 30 more miles and I am doing 14 this weekend and 9 tomorrow.

I fell asleep during seminar today.  Yesterday I slept over 10 hours.  I just called my doctor to get the lab papers for a thyroid check a month early.  Other than the being exhausted, I feel pretty ok.

I bet that's from all the marathon training. During HIM training, I fell asleep in the waiting area while getting my car's oil changed.

I'm not sure.  I thought marathon training might be a possibility, but this is how I feel when I need the meds bumped up, so I figure I might as well get it checked.

So are you losing your hair too?  Been thinking that I should go into my doc... I'm kind of tired a lot, losing my hair, and just want to sit down and have nervous breakdown. Oh and despite all my efforts... I haven't lost any weight since April    (okay, so maybe coca cola's my problem )

Hi Nibbs...

So on my agenda today...
Should go for a bike ride
want to hang out with Jack
Considered writing letter of resignation
Did call boss' boss to discuss letter of resignation (not really a viable option)
Need to go get fish for dinner
Just sitting here looking at my lasagna... not really hungry, but have that empty stomach feeling   I've had that feeling for a while now

Yeah, I noticed that more than normal.  I've been more of an emotional wreck.  I have lost a little weight, but it's hard not to with all the long runs and not really eating.

It's pretty easy to get checked and it's a problem for a lot of women.

So sorry, Heather. It's been that kind of week all around, I think. I definitely suggest a bike ride. I am feeling way better than I did earlier. But I'm weird that way.

I'm supposed to run, but I'm so tired.  Not sure how much skipping a workouts is going to do.  My week was supposed to be 5 miles today, 9 tomorrow, 5 Thursday, and 14 Saturday.  I'm considering revising to (at least) 6 tomorrow, 4 Thursday, and then doing the 14 on Saturday.  Any thoughts?

I've been reading "Going Long" and Gordo's theory is it is better to undertrain than overtrain. Anyway you could do the 9 tomorrow, then 4 on Thursday? That way you'd have the brunt of your "middle" distance done. I don't think missing 5 miles and still doing your other workouts as written will hurt you at all. 5 miles in the total scheme of things isn't that much.

I think it's possible to do the 9 tomorrow, especially if I don't run today.  It might take me longer and involve walking, but I think I can do it.  Especially if I do it in the morning before work.  I have a lot more energy then.

Wow sounds to me like you really need to get to a docs and have a check up Just get everything done - full blood work up etc...

Lack of motivation is bound to be all part of it... Take care!

If you do something would just say go easy to test out how you are feeling first... train on your mood rather than a plan... so if you get out there (swim, bike, run, strength - whatever) start easy... if you want to go hard do it! easy - do it!

Just set a minimum time.. .say 15 minutes... and if you really dont want to do any more after that its ok too...
