Yeah - its kind of like a really BIG meringue... with a cruchy sugary outside and a marshmallowy middle - you cover it in cream and fruit (I use strawberries) and I add crumbled chocolate...

I make one every christmas... you can get store bought ones but they are not even close to the home made!

I just drooled all over my keyboard.  Can I come to your house for Christmas?

Pavlova is soooooo nummy.  there was a little aussie cafe near my house a while back...their pavlova was amazing-mango with assorted tropical fruits on top.  It is too bad that they went under.

Too hot is sounding way better than too cold.

Spokes - 2008-11-12 10:46 PM I'm waiting for my dinner to digest so I can have my birthday cake... and the Iowa @ PSU DVD that my Dad made for me came today! Nice presents!

Purdue is taking Iowa down this Saturday!  Boiler up!

(I should probably use the sarcastic font for that.  But I can't help it.  I'm a believer until we're down by more than two scores.)

With Tiller's offense, anything can happen.

That said, Vegas has Iowa as a 17 1/2 point favorite (that's called a 'sucker's bet'). Iowa has won more than 80 percent of the last 40+ games played at Kinnick. Its considered one of the toughest, if not the toughest, road game in the Big 10.

But, anything can happen.

Who's replacing Tiller, BTW? I couldn't believe in the Big 10 network commercial, where they have all the coaches begging 'players' to come to 'our (insert school name here) ' all of the coaches were wearing coats and ties - except Tiller, who was in this slobby Purdue polo shirt. It looked really tacky, and Purdue is a better school than that!

Tiller's replacement is Danny Hope.  I believe he used to coach at Eastern Kentucky.

It's been tough this year because our D is half decent.  They keep us in the game, get a turnover or a big stop, and keep our hopes up.  Then the O does nothing at all.  If only we had an effective quarterback.  The football program has been in a sad decline the last few years.  When Tiller came in he really shook things up and brought the program back to life.  And now we've come full circle back to the bottom of the big ten.  Ah well, I should be able to upgrade my season tickets next year.  Yay for better seats!

And yay for basketball season!

It was mango flavored and absolutely amazing-and I don't generally like mango.  the flavor was really subtle and there was fresh mango on top.
