What in the world has happened to this thread?  Everybody burned out from it?  I know saving your energy to train this weekend.  Good you you’s.

I would have thought Fred would be online, hiding in the car, in the garage on he’s droid.

All I know is a trained more than Mike this month and my race isn't until October 9th. Men from the boys and all that...

Bryan, I think you're drinking your Cabernet Sauvignon again.   You have slured type.

PennState - 2010-04-01 5:35 PM Good news Bob. This water rover thing is going to hurt Desoto quite q bit isn't it?

It's just one suit, the eat the R&D cost and initial production, but not the end of the world. The speed suit biz will impact all of them, but it's not a big part of their biz. I spoke with ZOOT today about that.

I dunno, I bet Emilio is prett pi$$ed.

You know what that T1 is a damm fine suit.  Very fast!!!

I LOVE the two piece you don't get the pull between in the upper and lower torso as in a one piece.  At least that’s how I describe it, for me.

Oh, and you spelled "Sauvignon" and "Slurred" wrong so you better be drinking as well.

So I'm WICKED bummed!

I made an appointment to meet with a registered dietician.  She has marathon experience and I thought she'd be great for hammering out a nutrition plan...

It's $145 for an hour and my insurance covers NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, if I had diabetes, I'd be all set. The same thing wouldn't cost nothing more than a $15 co-pay. Crud.

Just wanted to share some personal good news... My training hasn't been everything I've hoped, but since January 1 I've lost ~17 pounds (with more to go).  Since IMLP last year (which I missed due to a bike crash) I've lost ~39 pounds.

I haven't weighted in the 180's since high school... today I'm at 190.6...

I'm thinking the resulting performance gains may even be greater than if I had stayed the same weight but gotten in all my training.

For April the plan is to keep losing at a healthy pace AND get in all the training

Looking forward to feeling comfortable with myself in my IMLP kit in July (and not racing Clydesdale ever again in any tri).

I'm not surprised insurance won't cover setting up a nutrition plan for a race!

Is it your nutrition plan for daily living or your nutrition plan for the race you need help with?

Nutrition counseling is only medically necessary for those with a health condition, such as diabetes. Having two diabetic parents I'm glad the system can at least look out for them. For the rest of us, it's on par with massage therapy or accupuncture. It can benefit your health and life, but we don't need it.

For what it's worth, I've been told by many it's not worth the expense. You can probably get some incredible and free nutrition advice here with so many coaches posting.

Nice work Josh, keep it up.  I was pushing 220 a few years back as well.  Now I live in the low 180's.
