In MD you can only vote in your party's primary. I saw that you don't have to in VA. I should register there....I didn't like any candidates.   will wait till next year when I have better choices.

My VD Day will consist of tutoring and swimming.  Maybe I'll run out and see Teddy and my dog Casey too.  The two men in my life. Oh, and they are both neutered.

I can't - I will be out of town from Saturday morning to Sunday night helping out with a youth retreat thingy through church (I get to play on the rock wall!). And I haven't given up hope yet. He said he would call "early in the week", which by guy standards does not ever mean Monday. And it's only Tuesday morning. For Friday drinks, I'd expect no earlier than today, possibly not until Wednesday. I am just hoping that he doesn't think I expect him to take me out on Thursday, because I don't. Seriously, all I want is to go out for drinks. In jeans. At some place innocuous and non "date-y" like Rock Bottom.

I hate life insurance.   I hate figuring out how much you need, I hate the concept of irrevocable beneficiaries, and I hate talking to crazy life insurance agents whose wifes have just died, and they have you on the phone for 30 minutes talking about it.  And using the fact that their wife just died, to try to sell you MORE life insurance.

dude, you have NO idea. really, you don't. the next time we are out drinking I will tell you the whole sordid tale of woe.  For example, does the calculator include your wife insisting the policy needs to be $50,000 higher in case your son is gay, and we might have to pay for his wedding in the event of my demise?
