I spilled coffee all over my pants on my way into work today. Juggling 2 cups of coffee, a lunch bag, container of creeal and the apple core to hit the trash...plus my purse on the shoulder. I am usually not one to boast, but thank you all for making a new me. Before I came to this awesome site, I was a bit of a roly-poly - 3000 posts, a half mary, 5 sprints & a du later, now I'm going to sign up for an Oly. A short year and a half ago, I couldn't swim and on the bike -- well, I couldn't ride more than 10 miles and no hills, the run was the only sport I liked. Now, today - I can swim a mile and I can bike, even up hill, with power - Running, I'm better at...thanks to Z2, and I'm thinking of running 12 hours. Wow! That's amazing - Well, I try to impress, But more important is this -- how I made this progress. One thing is certain - It takes hard work, true... But I owe much to this website. Advice, support, and HTFU. I've had two great mentors, Even if I didn't pay attention... and random advisors and friends - Too many to mention. I live for the challenges, They get me up and out the door... I live for inspires, which do all that and more. THANK YOU TO ALL MY FRIENDS ON BT! |
