I just want to thank you all for your support. Without this challenge I would not have been moving at all the last 3 days. Yesterday I got in 20 min of yoga, and today I did 45 min of core & upper-body strength training. I may not be able to run (or walk much) yet, but this gives me a chance to work on other areas. Saw the doc today, nothing is broken, but I developed an infection in my lower leg. Hopefully the antibiotics will take care of it and I will be up and running again soon. Unfortunately my bike is being "held hostage" by the bike shop until the insurance is worked out. Yikes.

Taking a yucky yellow for today. DH has to have his second surgery to flush the infection out of the tendon sheath in his index finger. Just stopped by the house to clean the kitchen, pay the bills, and check in on BT.

AbbieR - 2008-11-03 10:04 AM Please log your total minutes per week in the spreadsheet.....sorry I did not see who created/posted it online, very cool.....and THANK YOU!!!

We'll have to update the formulas for minutes.  Don't know how you want to do that -- guess we can add a second column for minutes as well as peach days and have a total for November's minutes?  Let me know how you want to do it and I'll be happy to adjust the formulas.

Yikes! I have no clue at all...maybe we should check with our Peach Keeper? Abbie what do you think??

Just wanted to say I have to withdraw from the challenge because of injury. Will be having MRI Wednesday to confirm it's not a stress fracture, but it sounds like it's severe plantar fasciitis. (I'm on crutches currently.) BLECH!

While I hope to be swimming by Friday or early next week, I definitely won't be able to do a month with no days off.

No way...not sure what would be worse? A stress fracture or plantar fascitis? Maybe the fracture b/c it will at least heal...plantar fascitis can be chronic. We'll keep our fingers crossed for you...maybe it's neither and you'll be back in the swing of things before you know it?

Trainer ride for my 3rd peach of the month.  I missed out on a perfectly gorgeous day outside since I had to work late.  And now that it starts getting dark at 5 I had to grudgingly get on the trainer to get something done.

I started taking spinning classes at night 5 years ago because I could never get out  in daylight, started teaching 4 years ago so that I could always get into class, now I just keep doing it so I know I will always get those workouts in.  At least we have decent bikes with odometers, watts meters ....  3 peach boxes for me this month.

I added columns for # of minutes each week on the spreadsheet.   It should add up the totals for the month for you.

Have a great Tuesday/Wednesday!  I should go fold laundry before swimming.

After today we in the US will be free from annoying political commercials and phone messages (for a few years) -- HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I admire you guys who use the trainer. I bought one but couldn't take the smell of burning tire rubber. I think I'll just take spin classes and on warm days bundle up and go for a ride outdoors.

I like the idea of a trainer. Being on my own bike. Getting used to the saddle for long periods of time, but I just can't take that smell. You guys are hard core. I admire that.
