peto_primo - 2008-12-07 10:37 PM MIA most of the week.  Had a good start to it, ended up only getting a walk to work Thursday and Friday, but had a nice little running race on Saturday and got outside for a 2 hour ride today - supposed to snow tomorrow so glad I got it in.  Had something all 7 days for just a nudge under 7 hours.   Not bad for the first week of December Surprised

Nice job!  How was Colder Boulder?

Not Colder Boulder, did CMRA race out at Aurora Sports Park, it went pretty well.  Just over 1 hr for the 12 k, but hey, I was within a minute thirty of Greyhound!!

Hola peachy folks...everyone is doing so well with their peaches.  My mom just brought me a McFlurry, so I'll be getting my peach with a much needed (to burn those calories) swim this evening.

Stay peachy!

LSU25 - 2008-12-08 7:25 AM No peachy month for me I've been sick in bed since late Thursday with a very bad cold....I guess this is something I'm just going to have to build an imunity for ( I teach Kindergarten)

It's the new teacher illness. (I'm assuming you're a new teacher because you're saying you have to build immunity)

In my first year I was told that you'll be sick constantly for three years and then you'll get over it. That has turned out to be true! 4 ER trips in two years with bronchitis and pneumonia. This is my third year and I haven't been sick yet. Weird. I hope you feel better! 2 weeks till break and then the year is half over!

Its so true...we should call it "the peach effect".

At least 2 or 3 days a week its a big part of why I get my booty out and active.

I like this whole idea about working out every day but 'peachy' is not really apropos is it? The color should be more direct & proud. Peach is kind of soft & unassuming. Sunburst fits the bill. I know I am new and not the moderator but it seems to fit our psyches and drive a bit better. Maybe next year I will start the SUNBURST CHALLENGE!

Peach wouldn't necessarily be my choice either, but it is color that denotes a workout performed on the BT training logs, so Peach it is.

I've pretty much been absent from this thread, but so far its peaches all around for me this month.

Keep up the hard work everybody!

I personally would say that's worth double if not triple peaches! I started my run an hour late on Saturday so it would be 40 instead of 35 and I thought that was cold enough for me

still on track for a peachy December. 60 minutes of free weights on Monday. Only 20 min of Yoga today, but it was after I spent 3 hours cleaning the kitchen floor grout and then another 2 hours resealing the brick and grout. Lots of elbow grease required for both, so really needed the 20 min yoga workout to stretch out my back....

Got back from being out of town, but did get my peaches for yesterday and today.  Not my best peaches, but I did get them.  Yesterday morning I walked with my 4 year old grandson (he rode his tricycle) to a bagel and coffee place.  I didn't wear my Garmin and so I only estimated that it was a mile each way and that it took an hour over all.  Tonight (barely getting in the peach) I went for a walk with my fella.  It was a respectable three miles, but I haven't run in days and walking just is not running.

And I echo the people who said that it is the peach challenge  that gets them out there when they otherwise wouldn't have.  I probably wouldn't have gone out tonight without the need to get my peach.  Thanks all.

Morning run done for today's peach, it wasn't cold today. Instead we had a snow storm, running in 4 inches of snow isn't as fast.

I have master swimmers tonight to finish the day.
