mattb1 - 2009-06-21 10:51 PM

I'm  back in the hotel. 13:00:48 for me.  That is a PR by just over 3 hours from IMKY last year.  It was brutal out there with the wind and then the rain and really cold temps.  Congrats to all the other BTer's who have finished.

OMG Matt, that is awesome!  I'm anxious to read your RR.  Was it a harder course than Louisville or about the same?

Bike, T2, Run, and overall PR for the day.  Today was fun.  It was too cold at the finish to hang out.  At home, cleaned up, beer in hand.

SUPER CONGRATULATIONS and certainly a well-earned beer! Thanks for posting!

Well off to bed here. It's 11:00 PM. I suspect my gal Jen won't be crossing for another hour or so. Can't stay up that late tonight.

I can't wait to read about all the Ironman finishers in the morning!

Congratulations to all of you!!!!

A quick update on McFuzz---

He clipped a sandwich board on the 2nd loop of the bike and fell to his left.  He rode the rest of the way injured because he was afraid they wouldn't let him finish.  Ran the entire 26.2 miles and went promptly to the  medical tent.  Diagnosis: likely a broken collar bone.  Trip to  ER will confirm tomorrow morning.

How is Dcossey doing?

The IMCDA finishing 4-5 blocks is very cool and downhill.
