So why not just add up the total distance swam for each team and divide by the total distance pledged by each team?  Seems like that would be easiest.

So typical...girls want to add additional stipulations to the rules after the start of the competition. If that's how y'all want to play, then the guys should be entitled to mandate that no one pieces be worn by the women after they lose. Two piece suits only.

Down here in south florida, we have quite a bit of culture...The popular style on the beach is the thong.  How 'bout we add front/back thong pics to our list of demands for the boys.

Haven't been in here in awhile, so I best make my pledge!! I have knee surgery the 19th, so from now until then I'll (timidly) pledge 8,000 yds. Also, I need to work on my run/bike for a race the 15th, so I had to deal that into the figure. Sorry Team Chyck...its a realistic goal for me.

Okay, I think that might be asking a bit much. Being a swimmer most of my life, I'm comfortable prancing around in a speedo, but a thong? Don't think those wishes will ever be granted.

But, I do want to reiterate that these discussions about what the boys are going to wear in their pictures are a waste of time and a waste of discussion board space because there is no chance in hell y'all are going to win. So you might as well give up now and spend the next 25 days shopping for a new two piece suit to look hot in for your pics. Happy shopping ladies!

Right...thongs for the guys and topless for the girls...I'm sure we can all agree to that.

Getting back to the Jammers question...I specifically stated in my personal challenge that I would post a pic of me in JAMMERS if any individual girl swam more than me this month...and I'm sticking by my word.  Now, I guess we never really nailed down the specifics of the team competition aside from saying swim suits.  I think it's fair that if the women want to require banana hammocks for the guys, that the guys require 2-piece suits for the girls.  Otherwise we leave the option open to your choice of racing suit.  Personally, I don't think a speedo can handle what I've got

Now I'm torn. I'd much rather see, say, Renee in a two-piece than TH3_FRB in a banana hammock. If I weren't a moral person, I'd have to start undermining my own team's efforts!

Ladies of Team Chyck ... while eye candy can be a nice treat (male or otherwise depending on your persuasion). The point is to WIN. To demolish the opposition. To feel swimmingly superior to the male contestants! To giggle at the darling men for their attempt to compete with the women.

The losers are not only to post a new avatar with their speedos (or jammers), they are supposed to change their signature. Here's the poem I propose that the men use when we emasculate them in the swimming challenge:

Beaten by the Buttercups

Couldn’t get my yardage up.

I need to spend more time in pool.

Man, the truth is women rule!

Followed by list of Team Chyck teammembers.

Sir, I refer you to 151258 - in reply to #151251. The stipulation was made that the loser's change their signature AND list the winning teammembers. If you want to get technical, the reference was made to Cupcake (not Buttercup) and we can change those first two lines to:

Beaten by the Cupcakes

I talk smack cuz my swimming’s fake

Whichever works for you.

What about all the women who entered both the swim and run challenge? Their signature lines are going to have to include two poems and the names of 50+ male BTers. Are you sure you can handle that Renee?

I guess the men will have to devise a nice little signature for the ladies then...I'm thinking something along the lines of:

The men rule, why did we think we could compete?

We're just silly girls, should've known we'd get beat.

So now we pay the price all month long,

A picture of our ass in a skimpy little thong.

No, no, no. We never agreed to thongs. Full length body shots in swimsuits (same applies to girls/boys). That's the deal!

Yikes....is this going downhill already...???   Next thing you know the rule will be all photos will be taken while wearing full length flannels!

But, I wouldn't mind coming up with a different name for this competition....something a little more PG (as opposed to PC)....
