pretty muggy today and light drizzle - I managed a very underwhelming 3 miles after biking a 15 mile loop on the crampiest set of pins I've had in a loooong time..... I think I was worried about getting seriously rained on. I don't know WHY...the humidity and my o so efficient cooling system had me dripping wet when I was done anyway....

Nothing underwhelming about that workout!  Especially in the rain!  I hate running in the rain.

REally?  Light rain is awesome to run in.  Now a heavy downpour is not my favorite thing, though it can be okay too--like if I'm already out there and it's humid, I'd much rather let the skies open p on me

OK -- I know I must be busy at work!!!!!! SHEESH!!!!   I look at the blog last on the 1st , and we're 5 pages later -- I'm going to have to pull out my planner to keep up!!!! --- Got to hold up my ernd of the bargain.

This feels like old home week/month --- lets see -- there's Kat (Worlds Best Tour Guide), Mila (who loves making Sal Puke), Sal (the monster I created -- just sayin), Her Majesty - Queen Zip (who's a wonderful motivator -- minus that cattle prods....), and a bunch of other fun names I recognize!!!!   Gonna be a fun month in the Crypt, that's for sure!

Well for me, Had my first official run of the month and completed 6 wonderful miles -- and yes Sal, Mila, Judi --- I did it with NOT ONE STEP WALKED!   Sal, you need to start getting askeered.  I may get to you owing me steak again!!!!  (Well, I can dream can't I!

Last time you came to Richmond you never even called me.  So if you head to Richmond again you need to notify me for the steak.  Contrary to popular belief I can cook

In my defense (I'm usually pretty much defenseless) I'm not sure that I knew who you were last time I was in Richmond.  All that aside.  We can set a steak challenge -- or even dinner if ya wanna.... just sayin!

Sure...when  are you in Richmond again?

10K race went well today. New PR by over a minute. With the warmup, race, and recovery run later, I got in a bit over 10 miles.

Dear Brett,

I believe you could benefit from someone to watch over you and ensure that you are completing each and every one of your workouts.  Obviously since I gave you that fine advice when we were in Minnesota and I was RIGHT, I not only deserve a reward but have proven that I'm the ideal candidate for this job.

Therefore, I will gladly accompany you to Tahiti to continue to dole out advice and ensure that you continue on with that fine running trend.  I will do this from the comfort of my beach chair.

No, no, it's OK, you're welcome, I am a giver like that.

Your Pal,
Mila

30 min run in Z2 (HR avg 143 bpm).  It was on the treadmill.  No one was chasing me, like in my dreams...

You should come back to Georgia then.  The only problem with that whole dream scenario is that you can outrun the me.  Therefore I call I get to ride my pretty bike while you run. TIA.

OK, I must leave my office now and "run".  Decisions, decisions... aquajog... slog... trudge... Techno-Gym...

If you aqwuajog you can laugh at the old lady that waves her arms around and dances in the pool

just sayin' cause I know how much you enjpy her show

HA!!!!!  I missed this the first time.  Indeed I do enjoy her show.  I sure wish I was that happy and carefree... or crazy... whatever...

I have spent the day doing a lot of cleaning since my run this morning.  Most of it revolved around one room.  Please visit my photo albums ans see how miss thing....our teammate who doesn't post on the thread and I track her runs for her....lives.

I lost count on the loads of laundry done today.  It all got scooped into trash bags (6 oththem I think) and sorted into the laundry.  It's now folded all over my living room for her to put away!

Hmmm,..... not even sure I get to go yet... but I am taking a waiting list.   But I do have a feeling that Mrs. UTTriman might have an issue with me heading out to Tahiti without her  (especially with a Queen and a Princess).. but other tag-a-longs are welcome....Sal, you gonna join in?

bluwatersoul - 2009-10-03 12:27 PM pretty muggy today and light drizzle - I managed a very underwhelming 3 miles after biking a 15 mile loop on the crampiest set of pins I've had in a loooong time..... I think I was worried about getting seriously rained on. I don't know WHY...the humidity and my o so efficient cooling system had me dripping wet when I was done anyway....
