Hi Ghoulies!  I made it to Madison.  Heading to dinner with a bunch of BTers in a bit.  Tomorrow's a big training day.  2.4 mile swim "race" in Lake Monona followed by riding the entirety of the IMWI course.  Should be a blast!

Heya Ghoulies! Spent the day walking up a storm around Vegas! Went shopping and bought a really, really, really, really nice Michael Kors bag which I am in LOVE with...LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE...and it was wayyyy cheaper than I even expected!

I DID have fun last night Robin. I went to see the water cirque show...its at the Bellagio and called O. It was really good...just crazy things going on. I think tonight we are going to go see the Lion King! WOOOHOOO!!!...and drink...

We have been pretty good over the past few nights...both of us were just stupid tired on Thus night and then we walked a ridiculous amount in 40C yesterday...sorry to say no S/B/R has been getting done...but I have been walking a ridiculous amount. I'm feeling a bit guilty about S/B/R...but its only 5 days and I need a break from it to get back on the train for the olympic and marathon. The good news is even with all the walking my hip hasn't really been bothering me so hopefully when I get home I can pump out a good 25-30km easy run and then have 8 weeks to work on it. The marathon might not be as fast as I would like it to be...but its my first and I need to take that and the injury I have had all summer into consideration I think because I am about a month behind from where I would have ideally liked to have been. Just need to focus on what I can do now!

Today I think will be a bit of a rest the legs day. We might head out to do a little bit of shopping, but not much and then hang around. Tonight is fancy clothes and shoes night because there is a train that goes from the Luxor to Mandalay Bay where the Lion King is!! HIGH HEELS!! WOOOHOOO...LESS WALKING...

Oh my, it is pouring of rain and has been all day. I am not complaining- we need it. But, now they have flood warnings all over the place.

Hi all. I did another tri today. hubby did the same tri, too. This was his second one. He's so cute. he catches up to me on the bike, then stays with me until we cross the finish line. Awwww. RR is posted in  my logs.

I should be out on my run right now but it is raining. It might have to wait until this afternoon. It is only to be in the 70's today so I can't complain about that.

How fun!

Yesterday we went to the beach with our 4-wheelers.  So fun!  I rode for about an hour and a half, then did some OWS in the Columbia river  .... 35 minutes and I was beat!   Current and wind make it hard to get anywhere.  DH watched me from the shore playing around on his 4-wheeler.  There is a wide stretch of shoreline that is deep enough to swim but shallow enough to stand up, so it is fairly safe.  (as safe as a river can be!)

Not sure what today will bring.
