Since BT is having a 50% off of membership special, I have upgraded to a Gold member.  I decided there would be no better time to access all of the videos and plans to see if I really would use the different resources.  50% off is pretty cool.

I keep thinking about doing it, too. I also am eyeing up the waterproof ipod shuffle they are advertising.

Keri has a basketball clinic at the college on Sunday from 1-4, the pool opens at 2, so I'm hoping to get a swim in.

Ghoulies, be sure to log your workouts and get them onto the spreadsheet.  Right now we aren't looking so hot on the challenge.  We need to blow them away!  This is our month.  Let's go GHOULIES!!!

What I wouldn't give for a few minutes of down time. I am SO behind on laundry at home it is pathetic.

The job at the college finally opened. Donnie wasn't sure it was going to, one of the VP's wanted to take that position and give it to another group. Donnie's boss was going to put up a fight before he let that happen. It is only open this week, and they want to hire from within. Donnie sent me his resume this morning and asked me to take a look. OY VEY! After an hour I think I have it presentable for him. I had more listed for my 2 years of working in his department than he did after working there for 20. He needs a good resume, but at the end of the day his boss knows him, knows what he can do, if he wants to hire him he will, if he doesn't he won't and I really think the resume is just a formality. When I sent it back to him I did tell him when he gets the new job he owes me a nice dinner for my effort.

The basement in our house is mostly finished. Downstairs is where the Wii, xBox, workout equipment and such are. We also have a projector and screen hooked up to a DVD player, the video game consoles, and the Dishnetwork. I usually workout while Caleb is playing xBox. I was on the treadmill last night and he was playing a new game I just recently got. I had wanted to play the game, too, but the graphics gave me a headache and made me nauseous. I was on the treadmill and had to close my eyes, I couldn't look at the screen at all. There have been some games in the past that made me a little funny in the head, but nothing ever like this. I felt funny the rest of the evening.

Good Morning Ghoulies!!    Plan is to swim today unless I opt for a nap. 

Got a massage yesterday after work from a new massage therapist .. new as in first time I had gotten one from her.  She did a really good job.  But she is phasing out of massage because she needs a steadier source of income and she is feeling burnt out.  Luckily she is still willing to trade!  The therapist I used to trade with moved away so this is good timing for me!

Tough call between the swim and the nap.

Good day Ghoulies!  Well, I guess it is almost over for some.

Robin - hope the ride was pretty.  The leaves should be really colorful about now.  

Ann - keeping fingers crossed for Donnie and the job.  Yup, resumes should be updated on a yearly basis, even if you aren't looking for a job.  It is hard to go back and remember everything.

Dee - so, which won, the nap or the swim?

I went and got in a good long walk for my dinner break today.  The campus is a nice one to walk around.  There was a lot of traffic from people heading out of the parking deck to go home.  Plus, i found all the fraternity and sorority houses.  They are all over by the train tracks.  Would not make me want to be in one, although the houses were nice looking.

We had our first frost last night. I brought all the plants in for the winter. I call that the Pine Gables Stair stepper. I have to take them up stairs to the sun porch.

Keri was going to go along with me last night to Caleb's soccer practice. It was in the low 50's, and dropping, and WINDY. I told her to stay home in the warm.

Caleb practiced in a t-shirt, shorts, and a beanie hat. I had 2 sweatshirts in the car but he didn't want them.

Good morning!  Yesterday was a busy busy day.  So  a 20 minute nap won out over the swim.  However, I should be able to swim Friday.  Maybe even a swim and a run if all goes well.  I have GOT to go to bed earlier!

DH felt really good Tuesday, but then yesterday after lunch, his gut started bothering him again.  This morning his gut feels better but he feels just drained and exhausted.  If he is not better tomorrow, I guess we will call dr. 

24 hours just isn't enough in a day!

Has he been able to eat or drink much?

He has eaten 1/2 of usual amount.  He is drinking his water & tea.  Yesterday he ate breakfast and lunch.  I don't know if he ate his afternoon snack, but dinner was just cheese & crackers.
