Log updated today. I had 2 days without distance put in but the minutes were done. Anyway I'm at 18.8 kms so far with 2 or 3 more runs to go this week.

Does the walking count also? I haven't added the warm up cool down distances if those count? Looks like everyone seems pretty charged up to get 'it' done

Nice job team!

No get her on BT! And Im happy for her to join the challenge too... just put her on the team and tell her to go running

If you are worried about safety the BT logs can be set to just allow registered users to view them, or even just her 'friends' list.

Well Teamies after getting Sass and Yogi;s marks for last week we were over 30% which if you look at team standings makes us number 1.  We will smoke those others this week.  Great job LD.

Great Job Everyone!  I am scheduled to run today, but it is 10:30 a.m. and already 80 degrees outside.  So, I am going to do some indoor work today and run tomorrow and Saturday.  Don't worry, I will hit my mark and not let the #1 team down!

Okay - I'm about 35 miles or so into my 50 mile committment... of course, 26.2 of those came in one big, hot, sweaty chunk at the Chicago Marathon this past weekend.  Now... just need my toes to stop yelling at me and I'll eek out the last 15 or so before I have a little surgery on 10/26!  I'll get there, I promise!

And, can I just say... WE'RE AWESOME!  And all those who've been trolling around and inspiring... even MORE awesome.  Now that I'm kind of coming out of my marathon fog, I'm going to start doing the same thing!

Congrats on finishing the Chicago Marathon!  Looked like things got a little rough out there this year.  This team seems to be pretty dedicated to making it's goals!  GO LD!!

my daughter has not come up with a user name yet, she wants a really cool one.
and she has decided she does not want to particapte in this challenge. you can breathe a little easier now sailing, cause if you thought i was a smart ---, well lets just say she me a run for my money.
i was hoping she would join in this challenge but she can decide when and if she wants to. she is already a very busy girl. well maybe next time.

Whew!! Dodged a bullet on that one.

dont get too excited, on the way to skule today she was asking questions about the challenge, and showing interest.said she has been thinking about it and wanted to know what her responsablities would be if she joined. i told her she would have to choose a certain milage that she thought she could achieve by the end of the month, log down each run and make fun of saling .

i hope she does join, i think it would be fun to compete with her on here, but its up to her, if she wants to great if not thats ok to. she already has alot on her plate and she still need to be a kid, if you know what i mean.

Hi Team.  I also wanted to ask if my husband could join the team.  He is already out here on BT.  He sees the inspiration and support this team gives to me.  Even today, I said "I have to go run so I keep my end of the challenge!".  He has started to really get into running and is hoping to receive some inspiration here.  If it is too late to join, can he at least come to this thread of this team for support?  If he can join, I will let you know his mileage pledge for the month.  Thanks for the consideration!

btw, I just put up another 3 miles today!  Go Living Dead!

Comet,  You better be careful she gets in here and she may run your pudgy rotten dead legs off....

Hey gang, sorry about my sucky numbers, I am still sick today but will be running tomorrow.  I'll make up a big chunk of my goal this weekend and next week will be a run-a-rama!!  By the way I've got a new ride, so next month we should do a "Bike till it Snows" Challenge!!!

That IS a sweet ride!!! You still have to run though. No riding that speed demon until you run at least once. LOL!! Hope you feel better. Sicky is no fun.
