Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: Putrid Pudding Ohhhh, Yanti the pics are getting more and more delicious...Those abs and shoulders are SMOKING!!!!! My coach's goal and mine for the day differed--he went for form and I was into distance so I stayed in the pool an extra 45 min to get the goal I had set for the day. Did some butterfly today, actually got complimented that it was improved since the last time we tried it. Now the breast stroke??? HA HA I felt like I was sitting still in the water trying that darn kick! total today----4000 yards |

My coach wants me to get these instead of the finis. The article about them makes sense but I don't want to be swayed by manufacturer hype |

Oh hoho WOW. Um, I really want to eat lunch off his abs today. And then curl up and take a nap in those ginormous arms. He can wear the suit when he marries me. Yanti! These photos actually make me glad I'm swimming tonight! Inspiration: accomplished. zipp1 - 2007-12-13 8:21 AM My coach's goal and mine for the day differed--he went for form and I was into distance so I stayed in the pool an extra 45 min to get the goal I had set for the day. Man, I dream of those days someday. Hey, I meant to ask you last night: Yanti says you used a particular swim program to really improve, but she couldn't remember the name of it. What was it? Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: Putrid Pudding Erin, I use material from www.triswimcoach.com. I have his book and a laminated workout set for poolside that I use when the coach is away. Found him through this site and they've interviewed him a couple times on endurance planet (Kevin Koskella, SanDiego tri club member)His drills and technique is more aligned to what my coach does than the total immersion stuff that a lot of folks here use. (not to badmouth a program I know NOTHING about though) Edited by zipp1 2007-12-13 1:10 PM |

Subject: RE: Putrid Pudding TriAya - 2007-12-11 11:36 PM Speaking of sig lines ... I think wurkit_gurl's sig line is waaaaaay off. Do I have to dig up gailg to spank you?
Hey, my ears are burning! I am happy to spank you guys for complaining you are fat, bad, stupid, lame, etc., for complaining you are "stuck" in life/love/work etc. but not doing anything to change that, or for various other things depending on how cute you are (and whether you spank, too), but not for "slow" (even though I believe Chrissy is not in fact slow). Unless of course you use "slow" as a way to put yourself down. If it is a fair description it's okay, especially if followed by more positive terminology (I am slow ... but will get faster because I am a training god; I am slow ... and I am out there, good for me ... I am slow ... but I am a triathlete). Be your own best advocate, not the one who puts you down the most. Go kick some a** please! |

Subject: RE: Putrid Pudding Glad to help -- call on me directly if you need me (I will drown in all the email this group generates ) to kick y'all in the pants or to offer butterfly or breaststroke instruction (yes, I was competitive in the swim-kind of IM when I was a kid and Red-Cross instructor certified in all strokes). I thus know a lot of sexy swim guys, but Yanti has that covered well. Or uncovered well, as it were. |

I think I need to have this, like, engraved somewhere. Or tattooed on my forehead so my friends will constantly see/hear it. I *hate* it when people I love put themselves down. I always want to scream, "You are all awesome! Every one of you! Yes, even you!" Hell, sometimes I do scream it. (I especially love the "please," Gail. So polite!) Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: Putrid Pudding Speak not to soon, Isis ... Meet LESLIE KWOK, a former Singapore national team swimmer, and a celebrity in Asia much like Thorpedo is worldwide. He does all sorts of cool stuff--supports the Children's Medical Fund and Project Yellow Ribbon, which provides support for ex-cons in programs where they work hard to usefully rebuild their lives--but the most important thing you need to know about him is that HE WAS COOL ENOUGH TO SWIM WITH ME!!! Yes ma'am ... I had the privilege of swimming with Leslie (you think he looks good in pictures? Woooo weeee) okay, well warming up in the same pool during international competition.

Uh huh -- I bet you were weaving right into a certain set of awesome abs. Entirely on accident, of course. (I don't think I could've gotten into the pool with him! I would have been freaking out! Plus, the view is better from poolside, I'd think.) |
