I have kept the team numbers to 10 to make it easy for the team captains and will soon be preparing individual team spreadsheets to track your teams progress. If you think you should be on your team and arent - please let me know! Its a lot of people here so if I missed you I'm really really sorry! Welcome to the March Peep Wars bike challenge. Please introduce yourself to you team in the team threads I am about to set up. And dont forget to pop in regularly to update your team, offer support and dont forget to inspire! Unless you want a Peep for an avatar in April!! ALL MONTH LONG!!!! You're first duty as a team will be to elect a team captain and in the next few days I will post a spreadsheet to be used to track your team data. I know some people like using google spreadsheet so you can, of course, chose to set up your team for tracking this way - the choice is up to you and your team. If you still want to get in on the challenge post either here or in the original challenge announcement thread.. I will find you a team.. Im trying to keep the numbers even and manageable so the team captains dont have too big of a job!!! I have given each team a back story in their team thread in terms of their role in Peep town... and some images for motivation... Good old fashioned clock work, me! Now get to bed! Thanks for all your hard work! Have a great weekend and remember to get out and ride!!! Spin class planned for tomorrow afternoon! (Hope the calf muscle holds out!) Will check in tomorrow morning for any new additions to the challenge who need teams!

I know Jen has basically covered this but the job of team captain is: 1) To collect and report the team totals each week (usually you get the team to report to you or use a google spreadsheet - whatever is easiest for YOU) so that we know how you are going 2) Sometimes if there are challenge questions in the team that need to be answered I get contacted by the team captain... 3) If someone wants to change their goal or withdraw from the challenge then the team captain updates the team spreadsheet (someone usually lets me know too - this happens about 3-4 times per challenge) But none of the above work should take too much of your time so the main job is to get your team talking and motivated! |
