Subject: Looking for IMLP watching thread volunteers

I'm looking for some volunteers to help with updating the progress of the BTers on Sunday during IM Lake Placid so ~8am to midnight East coast time.

What you need to do is check through athlete checker folks splits, update it into excel and then post it on BT. Typically we post after the swim is done then couple time through the bike. As folks are out on the run we update more often maybe once an hour or more.

Post here if you'd like to help and we can coordinate via email when you might be able to help and how to share the updated spreadsheet.

Awesome for help offers. I'll be somewhere with iffy internet.

If you can PM me your email addresses I can send you how we do it and the excel spreadsheet once I get it done.

More volunteers are welcome.

We typically do it a few times after the swim so 1-2.5 hours, update the bikes after first loop; then from about 9 hours on updating more often especially when the MOP folks come in say 11-14 hours after the start.

Thank everyone. We are driving across half the country so have limited internet access briefly each day. Today we get to our destination and I hope to work on the spreadsheet and post it if I can get on line. If not I'll post it in the am. If anyone is motivated to do the spreadsheet today and post it go for it.

Not sure what we do, check out one of last year's IM watching threads.

Also, not sure how the spreadsheet is done, but I think the best way would be to use Google Documents, so it can updated by interactively. I was goign to start it up (I'm at work) but its blocked.

Its basically an online excel spreadsheet, I think you can even import Excel into it. If we can embed it into the post that would even be better; people could just look at one post to see all the updates.

Okay, I set up a spreadsheet. Its the honor system, so anyone with this link should be able to edit. I'm trying to figure out how to embed it so we can just have it on the top of the thread and watchers will just have to refresh.

Also I don't know what the markers will be in the bike and run so feel free to add those columns.

Okay, the best I could do is publish it via the web, but I'm not sure how to link it. Maybe the mods can, but I don't think we can. If you want to try, there is a 'Share' button in the top right corner of the editing link which gives the options and urls.

I'm PMing her mine..but will be in and out as I'm on vacation on island with my parents and family. I should be around from 3pm onward.
