Pre-IMAZ Party at Tribe Multisports..

Hey all, Tribe and I are sponsoring a pre-IMAZ party for Slowtwitch and I just wanted to extend an invitation to this event to all the local BT crew as well:

As many of you IMAZ participants and attendees already know, Tribe Multisport is hosting the 2010 Slowtwitch IMAZ Gathering (Thank you Mr. Bubbles for getting everything started). We’re looking forward to it, and we’ve planned a little event that I hope everyone enjoys.

Fellow Slowtwitcher and financial planner Bryan Dunn (BryanCD) will be co-sponsoring the event. If you haven’t met him at IMAZ or Kona before, you’ll probably recognize his name from seeing it atop race results.

The event is planned for Friday, November 19th from 3-5pm (or later if you want to hang out). The time should give participants ample time to make it to registration, the pro press conference, etc. and then allow you to get back to transition for the athlete dinner. The event will take place in the USAT Certified Multisport Training Center located at Tribe, food, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and samples will be provided.

If you’ve been to Tribe before, we’ve moved and we’re now located in the NE Corner of Indian School and Miller just East of Old Town Scottsdale. We’re still no more than 15 minutes from transition. If you want to ride your bike to the event, it shouldn’t take longer than 20 minutes.

As part of the ST gathering, I’m planning a session of “See what the pro’s are riding”. I’ve asked a number of pro triathletes to come with their bikes as they will be racing them on Sunday. You’ll have an opportunity to check ‘em out, talk to the pro’s, take pictures, etc. We’ll also be giving away some really cool stuff, including a Nineteen Frequency Wetsuit (Thanks Steve!). We have also had some T-Shirts made for the event, quantities are limited however.
