Couple of guys from my team are in this movie.  Looks to be pretty cool.  Looks like they are doing a one night nation wide showing.

Fired up about it.  Dinner tonight then the movie.


I'm not sure what I'm looking forward to the most.  The cinamatic scenery shots, the following of Lance and the other riders, just the basic race footage, basic MTB footage...

 I cant wait. Tried to get the wife to come but no can do.  No worries, I am going with some like minded bike geeks.

My goal is to get the buckle before my 50th so I will be taking notes as I watch

I bought my wife a ticket.  She follows Lance A. on twitter, and he posted that it was amazing so she wanted to see it.  However, I mentioned that since he is FEATURED in the movie, what else is he going to say!

I think she will enjoy it.  She just like movies and documentories.  Probably not as much as me, but she will like it.

So what did you guys think of the movie?

I liked it but the pre/post panel seemed kind of akward to me. 

Watching it did make me want to put my name in the lottery.

I liked it a lot, seeing how steep those trails are gives me a real appreciation for the event, and the helicopter shots of the riders with those mountains as the backdrop were amazing.  My son wants to see it now so I will get the DVD.

 You may remember the one shot at the turn-around when a rider stops and says he has to go the bathroom, and the guys says "just dont pee in the wind", that rider is on my team. Great guy, finished top 50.

x2.  Everyone but Lance seemed a little uncomfortable.
