Master  1914    Finally north of the Mason-Dixon Line |  Subject: Prayer RequestA very dear friend from our family's time in the military emailed me today. her 13 year old son collapsed this week during a track and field day at school with severe back pain. After a unsucessful urgent care visit they went to the post hospital with her son unable to walk or use his hands. He is now in the pediatric ICU... he has since lost bladder control. Doctors are talking MS or Spinal Stroke but really are clueless as to what has happened. Thankfully he has feeling in his legs and arms so they hold much hope for a recovery but it's going to be a long road for this family! Her son, Ben, has always been stoic and strong and has continued to be so during this time. he insists he will skateboard again! the doctors have commented how healthy he is and that should aid in his recovery. Please send a prayer out for Ben and his family in Hawaii! Thanks! |

Still no idea why this happened... she's holding hope for him to be able to walk again with much therapy! |
