I have two goals. The first is to deliver overall good race execution while second pushing myself to my limit.
Swim: stay focused, sight well (no extra 200 yards ), pace well. 1:25 or so would be fine, but beating 1:20 would be awesome.
Bike: don't get sick, pace well and finish strong - don't go out in a blaze of glory just to whimper along at mile 100. Having never ridden the course, I'm thinking 6:15 to 6:45 will be the result. Only after the race will I know if I paced it well and gave an awesome time (for me ).
Run: run the run, finish strong. My last two IM runs have been 4:30, and I haven't been run focused, so a 4:15 would be awesome.
Time goals: I want to beat 12:52. |
