Subject: RE: I know this doesn't replace medical advice but ? about KNEE PAINthanks for the info - it DOES look like ITB syndrome (once i looked it up!) that doesn't look good for the tri I had planned on the 27th! I read that I need to cut out/back/restrict running and cycling and then slowly wean back into it.... I will be calling tomorrow to get a formal assessment/diagnosis....I am not really sure what is causing this - I don't *think* it is my training schedule because I didn't really do anything recently that I hadn't done before - I was actually running LESS lately than I had earlier in the year. I read that overpronation, leg length discrepancy, wrong shoes can cause it - and if my orthotics are no longer working as they should then they might very well be the culprit. I am so BUMMED!! |
