Subject: Email Notifications

I have noticed that I have stopped getting email notifications, and I'm not sure why.

I have checked my control panel and I have my default as "YES" for receive email notifications.  I have checked the list of threads I am subscribed to and it is full of all my recent threads.  I have tried using the "toggle email notifications" button at the bottom of threads I am on, and it indicates that I should be getting them.  Finally, I have checked my Spam box, no BT stuff in there.

Help?

I just checked my Trash box and the last one I got was on 12/28 on the Avenging Angels thread.  Nothing since then.

Anybody else having problems with this?  We have had isolated reports of this from when we switched to new servers, though from what we can tell it seems to be working.

I don't have any other details, really - they have just stopped coming, and as described before it appears on the frontend that I should be subscribed.  To keep up with threads I have been going to my Control Panel, clicking "Unsubscribe to threads" to see the list of all the threads I am on and just reading from there.

Would there be anyway you can change your email address for a day in your profile to another address to see if it works on another email system?

Sure, I can do that right now.

That seems to have done the trick.  I'm not sure why, I asked my husband to email my old address and it went right through.  Maybe there is an intermediate spam filter with the domain name emails that is catching the BT mails.

Thanks for your patience and help.  I guess I'll stick with the other email address unless I get this straightened out with the domain name provider.
