Atlanta 1/2 Marathon - Run

Comments: Forgot timing chip, therefore not officially timed. Frozen for the first mile then started to warm up. Started getting cold again about mile 9 and never warmed up again after that. Drank at each station, two cups at last station. I was actually thirsty at last station. Probably should have consumed more earlier. What would you do differently?: Wear gloves. ![]() Post race
Warm down: Walk to marta in the cold. Stretching as I went. What limited your ability to perform faster: Limited number of long runs lately. Event comments: COLD and WINDY. At one point, it was sleeting. I could see my breath the whole time (I did brush my teeth). Overall, great race. Goal was to finish under 2 hr. Last updated: 2004-11-15 12:00 AM
