Subject: Logging Calories
Ok maybe I'm just an idiot, but I don't see a field where I can log my calories from my HRM for run or a ride. What I'd like to see is total cals for the month or the like. Is this feature already here and I just can't see it?

Incidentally, the log otherwise is far too cool for school! I love having all my stuff in just one place! /Rob

your talking about calories burned?  no...for now u just have to put it in the 'comments' area.  your idea has me intrigued though...i will think about it and see what i can do for the next...

     MONSTER UPDATE!!!!!

if not soon , then dont worry...the final feature that will get worked on late this year is total nutrition logging where caloric expenditures such as what your talking about will be included and graphed.

Exactly - calories burned is what I'd love to have so that I can log my food at FitDay.com, then log my total calories in and total calories out so I can see what kind of deficeit or surplus I'm running. Thanks again for a great site! /Rob

So last night I rush home from family night at the Y , eat my dinner (everyone else ha already had there) then run around, get the kids into bed, tidy up, load the dishwasher, clean the kitchen while the wife sorts out the baby and for what?? Just so that when everything is done I can justify switching on the PC and logging the swim I did before Family time.

Me? Obsessed? Never!!!

Loggin coffee….cool!!!

Same here. I have class tonight at 6 and haven't even opened my book since last Thursday. Oh well he doesn't collect the homework so my grade won't suffer.

No rush... When you get the time, Ron!! (o: Because we all know that between family, training and income earning you've got hours and hours of time to kill on our behalf!!

Not to mention the time we kill by looking at and responding to threads.

In fact, what am I saying!! Get busy, Ron!! Don't be a slacker!! :-)

well hell, sounds like the rate we r all going one of us will have to found the site beginnertriathletesanonymous.com  so we can all deal with the losing our spouses, fam, jobs, failed higher education, and respect cuz we r all online trying to find out all we can on triathlons and when not doing that we train.

wait...that may be a cool concept...ill check and make sure that domain name is available...may as well cater full circle?

hehe...im being stupid.  couldnt train today...work WAYYY to long and on to some cran vodka.  im being stupid.

OK I know now that I'm surrounded by a bunch of addicts who are logging on just to talk about how much they log on, on a Saturday no doubt. Although this message must mean I'm an addict too because I couldn't wait to get home and log on. Well, at least its a healthy addiction!

Maybe we need a log where we can log in how many times we log on. I'm pretty worried about overlogging, though I think if I incorportate a low log week every four weeks maybe I can increase my loggging safely.

I don't know......

a 'true' addict logs on looooong before they get home from school, work, the local library, whatever it takes. But I guess if you're having withdrawal symptoms while you're away all day, then you are truly an addict! LOL

Way too many laughs here this morning over you folks!! I love the BTA.com idea!! The overlogging fits me!! and I definitely get withdrawal symptoms with too mcuh time away.

It is clear that this site not only fits the need for training and racing information and help -- it already does have the BTA component built in -- just listen to us here! I'm happy to be able to write about a lot of other topics and you all don't mind -- in fact enourage it many times with your own ramblings. Thanks -- I have seen the light!!! And I have found my spot!

good point Nancy! Now all we need to do is come up with a 12 step program for BTA and we will be on our way to recovery.

WAIT!!! I do NOT want to recover from this! LOL I like being a BT addict and it's sooo good for me!
