I did the fall version of this sprint as my first tri ever and now I'm coming back to revenge getting my a$$ kicked on the trail run.

Race date is 4/27

My wife and I are doing it as our first as a warm up for bigfoot later this summer. Looking forward to it.

I'll be there.  Its a great warm-up for early season olympics. Pool swim and real easy bike course.  Hope to see some of you there.

Unless the Kona force winds are up that day.  I remember pedaling hard head down and struggling to keep it above 14 MPH after averaging 24 on the way out.  That and almost getting thrown off the bike.

That's what I remember as well...stupid wind

any trail running tips?, I don't know if it was my legs were shot from the ride or what , but I really struggled and could not get into a groove and my pace was 3 minutes higher than normal.

only reason he witnessed it was because he saw it all unfold IN FRONT OF HIM, which means he too got beat by a 9 year old girlie girl!

NEVER- I was jock strapping for the gang. I'd never let a 9 year old beat me (I'd trip her first).

I dragged my feet too.....but just got an email that I'm in.  I'm entered into the other races I'm doing this year but when ones in my backyard (literally, I go to school here) I drag my feet at signing up.

College has taught me the invaluable skill of procrastination.

Argh what mutri and jpingel said... I'm lazy!

Oh well... Hopefully I will get my revenge on the late one. My spectacular finish last year that involved 2 flat tires, 2 bee stings, and oh so much more.
