Is it $2.99 or $29.99.  I see the latter price.  Is is it necessary to open an account?

Subject: Is this a legit site? That's got to be less than their postage costs...
Register.com listed Deekins.com domain as having been registered in just 5 mos ago.

$2.99 has got to be less then their postage costs, so they're giving you the magazine at a loss?

It might be good marketing if it was just sent to competitive triathletes, but that code also works for Maxim magazine too.

If you were getting taken, thieves would have 30 days with your credit card info before you realized you weren't getting magazines.

Has anyone done business with this site before? I'm tempted but this offer sounds 2GD2BTRU.

I paid with paypal. So the only personal info they get is my address. Maybe I'll get flooded with junk mail. Oh wait, that already happens...

It is normal for the subscription cost to be less than the cost to produce the magazine. The dollars come from the advertisers, not the subscribers. I get several professional publications free, simply because the companies who advertise want me to see their ads.

Yeah, I guess, but why would they do it for renewals too?

You're already a customer. They already have your info.

I get a lot of tech trade publications for free, but they are 90% advertising.

I thought it was bizarre there was not a single completed product review on their website and the first mention I ever found of this website elsewhere online was 12/16.

FYI, that code isn't just for Bicycle magazine. Almost all the magazines on that site have a code that brings them to $2.99.

Caveat Emptor.

They're also still selling subscriptions for American Tri. Didn't that go out of business a couple months ago?

Can you use the coupon more than once? I see a number of magazines I'd like to have Santa get me. Hubby wants more ideas for little (inexpensive) things.

Someone said they thought American Tri went out of business...is that true? If not do you like the magazine? Sounds right up my alley with being geared for age groupers.

Try out the coupon code to see if it works more than once, but probably not. American Tri went out of business and Inside Tri has taken over their subscription database.

Looks like you have to make multiple separate orders of 1 magazine if you want the discount on more than one.
