Since Roadhouse is one of best movies of all time, I was sad to see that the Blonde Blind singer that was the house musician died of cancer.   Or maybe I missed an earlier thread.

His album CD titled "See the Light" contained the hit "Angel Eyes". He was a pretty decent blues guitarist.  "See the Light" is decent. Give it a listen sometime.

Yes, we Canadians are, were, no are - very proud of him and it is a huge loss. He had a weekly radio show up here where he played his own private collection of vinyl, obscure blues-ey stuff ... awesome. Just awesome. He will be missed.

I was visiting Omaha last May and he was scheduled to play a free "night of blues" on the Missouri River but cancelled at the last minute.  I guess this might explain what happened.

Sorry to hear.  I loved him in Road House.
